Iraq Question: What do we do?
Mary Landrieu: she says we must disarm them. If if if if if if if. Mary isn't saying where she was during the last 4 years of the Bent One's Reign of Incompetence--guess she didn't care about Iraq back then.
Terrell: We have an obligation to keep peace. The administration has it right. A bit of a stumble in her delivery. C'mon Terrell. Get it together. Yes, she would support the President regardless. Good woman.
To: Sparta
Education Vouchers.
Terrell: She'll work with the Gov' and the Prez' to make sure all kids aren't left behind.

pinging for a later read. Bump for the same reason.
11/24-11/27 Terrell 43% v Laudrieu 44% UNO Poll MOE 3.7%
( UNO Poll reflects Black turnout at 29%)
Pollsters said the strong Independent response for Terrell was likely connected to President Bush's popularity and the Republican victories across the country in the November 5th elections. The poll was conducted between November 24th and 27th. 29% of the people responding to the poll were black, 55% were female.

I thought Terrell finished really strong with that closing statement. Landrieu came off looking desperate and whipped, and running away from her pro-abortion record. Terrell has four sure votes in my family. She looked like a winner and Landrieu a loser.

I think GA Jimmy sent Amy to a public school in D.C. And look how she turned out? And Governor Holton of VA since his kids to an all-black public school in Richmond for a time. But EMK never make such a pretense.

Yes, you can get the baby's input. Show Mom, her baby on the ultrasound, and then stick the baby in her foot with a needle. If the baby flinches with pain, as she surely will, then baby is telling Mom, "please don't kill me Mom!!" EXCELLENT point!
By the way, since you say stick the baby in her foot, I've long wondered how the women's groups that advocate abortion justify the 10 million "women" they have aborted since 1971. I'm a man, so what do I know? But seems to me that little girls (even little infant girls) invariably grow up to be women.

. 29% of the people responding to the poll were black, 55% were female. Isn't the historical black turnout in LA around 24-25 percent? 29 seems unreasonable to me.

She flat refuses to state whether she is pro choice. It's amazing that she used to brag about being pro-choice, but now that she's running for reelection she can't utter the words. She is running away from her abysmal liberal record in hopes that the voters of Louisiana won't be smart enough to look at her sorry record.

Landrieu looks a lot more stressed....I think she knows she might lose! Terrell looks more poised and professional. I agree. I think Suzie did a great job in the debate, and little Mary couldn't answer the questions truthfully, because the voters of Louisiana don't agree with her liberal views.

Tim Coulon has just become Louisiana's Bill Clinton. All Louisiana Freepers need to freep this bastard every chance we get until he's out of office. Believe me, we will ostracize the lowlife RINO, Tim Coulon, if he ever shows up at any function we're attending. And if he ever decides to run for any other office after he leaves his term-limited position as Jefferson Parish President, we will be FReeping every place he campaigns.

NEVER TRUST RINOS!!!!!! Truer words were never spoken, Patriot1!

Yes..You are correct....
In LA % of Reg black voters is 29%..., however Population of blacks in LA is approx 33%...
Blacks turnout ranges from 23-27% ,,depending on how pissed off black voters are with republicans at a given time.

The recent high for black turnout was 26% when David Duke was the GOP nominee for governor -- ugh!!!
A consensus seems to be forming around the 23-24% mark (percent of actual voters who are black).

You pay taxes on your husband's Social Security disability check? How does that work? Do you claim his SS check as income when filing taxes? My sister makes $37,000 with a husband receiving SS disability and she has never said she had to pay taxes on his SS.

Does anyone know what the black turnout was on Nov 5?
