Tribute to CW3 Martin D. Vanden Eykel II (USAR); Died while missing, Binh Dinh, South Vietnam. I never knew Martin but I wore his MIA bracelet for many years. I know Martin's father Marty who is a retired Captain for American Airlines. Martin's sister Marsha is a flight attendant for American and Martin,s brother is now a Captain for American Airlines. I may have flown with Martin over in Viet Nam as I spent two years in the Special Forces over there. I know that Martin was brought home only a few short years ago after having been shown as MIA for a long time. Welcome home Martin.

Dad is doing really good. The shoulder pain seems to be letting up more now, so that's good. He has a follow-up appointment today with his doctor after his skin graft. Since he hasn't experienced any problems with his hand after the graft, I'm hoping it took this time. If so, then I think rehab, etc. should be just around the corner to get his mobility going again.

Yes, we had a lovely Thanksgiving, with lots to be thankful for. I hope yours was nice too.....
