Ken Starr..........oh I can just see it now.........for heaven's sake, give the President some credit for knowing how to play the game. The left wanted an investigation, they are going to get an investigation.
The most important part of this will be the recommendations that the committee makes.
Any committee with McCain as a member is bound to be nothing but show biz.
Just my opinion, of course.

McCain will not be on the Commission. It was stated on Fox News that current members of Congress are ineligible.

We have the recommendations from the Rudman/Hart Reports on Terror. They were comprehensive and exhaustive and a fine blueprint to improve the situation.
This is to investigate the breakdowns in intel that happened.
I'd prefer an investigative type of a person. Anyway, it won't amount to much more than a whitewash. Perhaps i'll be wrong. I can always hope.

"Any committee with McCain as a member is bound to be nothing but show biz."We're safe.
According to the article, "No members of the commission will be sitting members of Congress."
