Well, there it is. An interesting, and bizarre, weekend to say the least.

Several questions still remain, and as I said, the investigation is continuing to try to find the answers.

How did the suspect get from Seattle where the email originated, to NH where he was picked up this morning?
Where is the car?
If the suspect drove from CA where the murder occurred to NH, then someone ELSE sent the email from Seattle. Else the times don't work out. If someone ELSE sent the email while the suspect was on the road, who was he/she?
If the suspect drove from CA to Seattle and sent the email himself from the CyberCafe on Friday, how did he get to NH to be picked up today?
Why did the dirtbag send ME the email?

Feel free to post your own questions.

Wow! To describe this whole episode as bizzare is to dramatically understate it.

Thanks for doing the right thing.

Keep us posted. If this individual was a member of a group, and not just a left-wing nut, then we have more work to do.

May indicate an accomplice?

Good job Neil!

No wonder you slept late this morning. You probably haven't had much sleep after this was dumped in your lap.

I want to see what side of the political spectrum this killer really was coming from. It is hard to tell if he is a flaming liberal or a flaming 180 degree the opposite.

Every airport from Sac, Medford, Portland to SeaTac needs to have their parking lots checked out for this guy's car.

Besides my question of what side of the Political Spectrum is he from, the other important one is, "Was he doing this alone or with help?" If he had help, "Is he part of a group?"

Neil, you posted that this was a conspiracy and as a good cop you know what a conspiracy is. Do you think that he was involved with a group, or can you tell us at this time?

I have the feeling you will be having a lot questions from law enforcement people all over the country.

An observation: merely because the post was allegedly from a Seattle Cybercafe doesn't mean he was actually IN the Cybercafe.

Also, on a MUCH less serious note: what's this guy's FR screen name? He sounds like matsuidon after taking some "sensitivity training."

To answer your question: suspect probably used the " Old Comrades' Network " - a chain of "helpful" left wingers that crosses the country, and involves some well-to-do, well placed " activists " left over from the 60's and 70's.

The network was orinally set up by Soviet agents/sympathizers in the 30's, and continued - somewhat changed - right up to the present date.

If my guess is correct, it's the same one Muhammad and Malvo used during their killing spree, and is probably in use by Islamists as well.

Do the Feebies know about it ? Hell yes !

Neil your postings on Monday cought the attention of several Red Bluff, Cottonwood, Mineral, Corning people, word spread about FR posting on the shooting and altho they are not members here they could keep track of what was going on, and in most cases there was more news on FR than their local media. From all of us, you deserve a big HUG. Thanks for your dedication to California's finest........

he demands the right: So he is a LEFT WINGER, and GAY

Watch the media 'spin' try to avoid these things and quickly try to assign blame on his upbringing or some trauma

Great job, Neil.

Ideology kills. These wacko liberaltarian nutcase groups need to be shut down using RICO. There's a plague infesting FR wherein a small but vocal group of loons are openly declaring war upon American self-governance and the Constitutional rule of law. They should not be tolerated.

Why did the dirtbag send ME the email?

I am trying to figure out who are all the people the email was addressed to. If you mail me privately all the FULL email addresses, I promise not to divulge them.

One thing I noticed is that he probably made a typo when he emailed to you. 'newright' is probably somebody elses' address, as in "NEW RIGHT", not as in your case: "N. E. WRIGHT". There is also an '@ctaz.net' email domain, so maybe he did something so simple as writing .com instead of .net

I was trying to decide if he emailed people he thought would be SYMPATHETIC, or just JOURNALISTS who would be sure to get out 'his story'.

One of the adressees the shooter wrote to is Justin Podor, who is a palestinian sympathizer journalist. I'm trying to save all his articles on the 'net' before they soon disappear. here is one thing Podor recently wrote...

I am starting to think that most of the addressees are internet journalists. (and probably pro-muslim /anti jewish journalists at that) Some of those addresse names keep popping up on website's FEEDBACK PAGES.

...more to follow

"We recognize that a policing force is necessary for the safety and happiness of human life."

If this guy would have just payed attention to this one sentence out of his "essay" this young officer might not be dead.Hopefully this kind of thing won't be spreading. My heart goes out to his family.

SAC BEE.com - THE SACRAMENTO BEE: "RED BLUFF GETS HELP IN HUNTING OFFICER'S KILLER" (ARTICLE SNIPPET: "An autopsy was under way Wednesday and Petitt declined to give any more details about the shooting. He did say that authorities believe the shooter is not searching for random targets. "It appears to be a situation where officers were the target," he said. "I think the community at large is safe. It's law enforcement that isn't." The Red Bluff Secret Witness Program offered a reward of nearly $30,000 for information leading to the capture and conviction of a suspect or suspects.") (112102)
