Three-quarters of respondents said that the first round of tax cuts had not made a noticeable difference in their paychecks. Probably because most of them don't pay a lot of Federal taxes to begin with. We don't. And besides, why would the taxcuts affect the amount in a paycheck, unless the withholdings had changed? It's the total numbers that count.

That quote got me too. It is unlikely that you would notice something that didn't happen. People didn't have the tax taken from their paycheck, or in other words, they got to keep more of their own money. Those questions are an outrage.

Of course they don't ... recall that the bottom 40-45% of wage earners pay NO federal income taxes at all. This is the base of the respondents of these polls. Never forget that.
