Thanks for the notice - one of the great blessings of FR!
The Dims have no idea how wide is our ability to share news, probably because until Nov 6 they did not care to know.

The crowd is fabulous. Thanks so much, Romania, for the wonderful welcome. How great to have a President who I can watch with pride and love. Couldn't watch the other one at all.

Can anybody make out what they're chanting? They've done it a couple times, but I can't make it out maybe because I don't speak Romanian, LOL.

And with every word that Bush utters, a little more stomach acid irritates Al Gore's already overstressed esophagal lining, as he ponders what might have been if his little helpers in Florida had been able to manufacture just a few more votes after the polls closed ...

What a pleasant day this is going to be.

Romania is in NATO! Thank you Ronald Reagan and thank you to the people of Romania who overthrew their own version of Bill and Hillary Clinton just 13 years ago - Nicolae and Elena Ceausescu.

Interesting how the Democrats rapped Bush for not knowing the names of various world figures during the 2000 campaign.

But they all know his.

Colin Powell is there

I assume he is there to recruit as many of the 200,000 Muslims in Romania as he can to come to the US and obtain citizenship.
