Does anyone have a Rino or Bush-Bot ALERT ping list? That would be fun...hehehe
That way we could know when and where the Bush-Bots and Rino's are running. Kinda like a hunting and fishing guide.
In the meantime lemme know if you run into a thread heavy with them, I'll try to amble over and bag a few.
Oh, do we need any kinda license for this ya reckon? ;^)

Both parties would love to raise the legal quota of immigrants but it is too hot politically to pass that legislation. The open borders deal is an end run around that. The amnesty is to make it legit - "hey they're here anyway". Your statements are true only assuming a stagnant situation. Hopefuly these lowly workers will move up and more illegals will take their place. Around here all the landscaping companies are owned by whites but the crews are all hispanic. Eventually some of these crewmen will be in a postion to start their own business. In short assimilate (economically) those here already so there's room for the next wave.

I still want to know how an illegal alien ever beats an American out of a job. Because they are more skilled? Because they speak English better? Because they have more education?
Maybe it's because they want to work despite being deficient in all those things.

Wrong. Here in the Midwest, school kids are happy to tassel the corn, and any other jobs they can get on farms. You won't find many city kids doing farm work, but those in rural areas will work when they can. The city kids mow lawns, rake leaves, shovel snow, and run errands.
About those strawberries, I go to a U-Pick and pick my own, anywhere from 3-5 gallons; good exercise, fresh and prime berries at half the cost, and enjoy all winter.

2)they'll do it cheap
3)they'll do it for cash
4)they'll take a lot of sh!t if they think they can get busted for being here
and, for some 5)because they'll bust @$$ to keep the job

Meat-packing plants, too, full of illegals. A packing house in southern Indiana, Emge of Ft Branch, IN, closed down a few years ago because they couldn't compete; Emge had been there for nearly 100 yrs, and had the best link sausage in the country.
IIRC, many of the illegals are bring tuberculosis in, and they sure don't belong around food. If the employer is using illegal labor, can't imagine him having them tested for communicable diseases. In fact, one of the largest packing houses was closed for tainted meat; after it was cleaned up, Tyson bought it, IIRC.

And who is to say that terrorists aren't funding some of the these groups to get across the border--can't say it would be too difficult to mingle with a group crossing the border on foot, or in a truck carrying "cargo".

Please.....this doesn't coincide with my perception of the issue through the privileged prism of nannies, gardeners, and maids. Vdare and American Patrol to the contrary, isn't America just one large economic unit and isn't conservatism just about contriving strategies to supposedly win elections? As with race preferences and bi-lingual education, it doesn't matter that whenever given the chance, voters register decided opposition to illegal immigration.

True, and the same with property tax increases for schools, new levies, etc, we're outvoted by those who have no property. Taxpayers at all levels need a voice; to date, we've had none, only promises broken.

And, of course, you're speaking of the Tyson of the infamous chicken-poop soup? ;-)
That filthy chicken has turned me against chicken forever, and I'm also careful about which beef I buy, since he did buy up a large plant, maybe IA or NE, that had been closed for contamination and a huge recall--bought it for a song.
