Canucks Won't Let 'Moron' Resign (Prime Minister Jean Chretien)

The chief spokesgal for Canadian Prime Minister Jean Chretien offered to resign today after being caught calling President Bush a "moron," but Chretien would not accept the resignation. Fitting reaction for a country in which polls show many citizens blame the U.S. for being attacked on 9/11.

She's French and Canadian

A reporter overheard Canuck peacenik Francoise DuCros at the NATO summit meeting in Prague calling President Bush a "moron" because she didn't like his policy on Iraq.

DuCros claimed she didn't remember making the insult but said she used the term often.

"If I made comments in the context of what I understood to be a private conversation, I regret that ... I accept full responsibility for them and I sincerely apologize," DuCros said in a written statement read before Canada's parliament after opponents demanded her ouster.

Everyone's a Moron; No One's 'Civilized'

"She may have used that word against me a few times, and I am sure she used it against you many times," Chretien told reporters. He complained that "we don't live in as civilized a world as we used to, where private conversations are private."

Then the top dog in Ottawa stuck his foot even deeper in it by trying to praise President Bush: "No no, he's a friend of mine. He's not a moron at all. He's a friend. I had a good time with him today."

If DuCros ever tires of her nation's high unemployment and weak socialistic economy and joins her many fellow Canadians who are fleeing to the U.S., she'll fit right in with the domestic branch of the blame-America-first left, where calling opponents names instead of arguing facts is an art form.

Not too long ago being French Canadian was not necessarily an impediment:

The canadians hoped to go to Europe and get NATO to refuse to approve of the UN sanctions against Saddam.

When bush got what he wanted out of NATO, they were very ticked.

What really ticks them off is bush is so nice and cordial in public. He is nice and pleasant. In private negotiations among nations he is tougher than nails. He won't give an inch and he squeezes where it hurts.

It makes them very angry.

The Canadians are very unhappy that Putin gets treated like family and the Canadians like the French at Waterlou.

The canadians get huge financial benefits at the expense of the USA. That could put a crimp in their works after 2004.

what made them really angry was that Bush had the audacity to tell them to put up or shut up, that even Luxemborg pays more $$$ to NATO than the pathetic Canadians.

If the canadians think President GWB is a moron, what must they think of their prime minister critter, who follows W all over the NATO meeting, with the critter's mouth glue to W's rear end? Most of the picture I saw of W in the NATO meeting shows the critter's ugly face grinning, desperately try to get a photo op with the USA President.

I was listening to a talk show on WRVA tonite and they had a contest to pick a saying for Canada. I didn't hear many, but the one I did hear works pretty well:

Canada: We're part London, we're part France, we wear women's underpants.

Hey, I thought it was funny.

"She's French and Canadian"

Therefore in the eyes of the PM, a higher being who can not be held accountable, much like himself.

She may have used that word against me a few times,"

Yeah, except then she's 110% correct.

And for the rest of you Freepers, stop with this foolish assumption that the PM thinks the same as we Canadian citiznes, and don't trust the media to tell you what Canadians think because they know it's the liberals who butter their bread. Your average Canadian would love to get rid of this government and is quite supportive of the US.

Yeah, W is a moron. Right, I just love it when another sophisticate decides to underestimate my president. It's such a predictable outcome I don't know why I enjoy the spectacle so much. Go right on lady, keep thinking he's stupid.

You might want to make a quick call to Terry McAuliffe however.

This is not a nation of royalty or a nation where the leaders have subjects.

This is a nation where elected officals work for the people. They are elected to be our servants. They are public servants. Not public rulers.

If you want to keep your freedom you will come to understand that. Bowing down to your rulers will make you a slave. Making sure public servents know they are servants ensures your continued freedom.

Have you always been clueless about the difference between servants and rulers or did Hilllary have to teach you.

G'day. I'm a 6th generation Canadian and I have never voted liberal or supported ANY of the socialist trash and lefty lawyers which Quebec has foisted on the Canadian public. Far as I know, none of my relatives or friends have either (I'm the kind that simply can't mix with liberals,… weak stomach).

I want every good Republican down here to know this is one Canadian who detests the leftist scum that vegitates in our parliament more than you do. There are lots more of us too. If you care to join in on our form sometime you'll find some kindred spirits north of the 49th:

http://www.freedominion.ca
http://www.onetenwest.org

Most of us outside the politically correct GTA (greater Toronto Area) and university campuses actually work for our income and have lived and worked west and south of the Toronto City limits. We have traditional Canadian values and know who our friends are. If I had to choose between Americans and the rot that has infested my federal government as to which was responsible for the bread and butter on my family's table, I side with my US friends who buy my company’s products in a New York min. I, and most traditional Canadians, know America’s and Canada’s cultures and economies are inseparably linked. We share more in common than any other two nations on the globe…..except for our political elites.

I have lived in areas of this nation where the disgust for the Ottawa lib-left regimes is so intense, provincial independence movements have sprung up. Essentially, central Canada (Quebec and south Ontario) see the rest of the nation as vassal colonies to be plundered for taxes and politically disempowered with a disproportionate seat distribution electoral system. Chretien won a majority government with less than 38% of the popular vote (most of it from southern Ontario and Quebec). The socialist center gets fat at the expense of the Rest of the working nation and they run the political agenda. There is deep loathing of the Chretien regime from Conservatives and free republicans alike in Canada. We hate the way socialist collectivism has been used as a plunder and patronage tool instead of the equality of traditional commonwealth federalism we had before Trudeau.

His government’s petty anti- American attitude, actions and foot-dragging in supporting out greatest ally and trade partner is nothing less than despicable. He has made me ashamed to call myself Canadian and I'm certainly not alone in these feelings.

I just wanted to take this opportunity to inform you folks that Chretien and his band of Marxist misfits DO NOT speak for me or many millions like me. I also want to apologize for the tainted actions of this buffoon and assure you this Quebecois bush ape is NOT representative of the Canadian character

Yours in liberty
