How many were actually sold?
I don't know, but hard covers are expensive, and I bet when you get much below #400 on the list you aren't talking about more than a few thousand copies. Look for both books soon at Half-Price Books.

Bill's book actually could be an enormous seller, if it was written as a lurid tell-all confessional. Can you imagine how huge the sales would be if he gave an account of all his extra-marital dalliances and various other high crimes & misdemeanors? Anyone who ever bought a Jackie Collins novel would be all over it.I understand he is emulating Dicken's style in "David Copperfield, in an effort to appeal to readers of classical material.
Chapter One: I Am Fellated.

Publishers are taking a huge risk in undertaking to publish a Democrat's work.No kidding.
But then-I don't think some of the publishers really care-the honchos at the publishing top just want to make sure they stay on the 'A' party list with fellow lefties of note.
I mean---simon and schuster paid hitlery EIGHT MILLION DOLLAR for her missive-two years ago. Where in the hell is it? LOL (Guess she is having trouble finding anything of worth to write about.....or else, she never intended to write the drible anyway.) Simon and schuster seems content to let EIGHT MILLION FLOAT AWAY-well actually, they bought the home for her in DC-guess they had to provide the place to party, as well.
tipper wants her pictorial book to be this years Christmas coffee table book gift. LOL. What an immature aging hippie that one is. And Al-he is proving to be dumber than I thought he was years ago. Apparently age has not matured him. Pathetic.

The publishers who greenlighted those books should be fired. Everyone knows demoncrats can't read and book stores don't accept food stamps.

Dems will probably force it as "Required" reading in all public schools.

Why would anyone presume to buy either of their "memoirs" when they never could remember anything?
Both Hil's and Bill's books will be in the Sci Fi Section of B&N.....

no, i heard he was doing it from the women's point of view, almost in a Forumesque style

Jimbo, the title of this article leads me to suggest the following:
FLOP! should be Al's new nickname... Since Gore is renouncing his having supported the first Gulf War, I'm sure he wants to retire "Prime-Time Al", so let's replace it with FLOP!

Spirit of Family: Now ranked lower, at 1,131 Joined at the Heart: Still ranked at 834 Dimorat spin: While the rankings are somewhat dissapointing, I think Sean Hannity, Rudy G, Ann Coulter, should have done better, so this is a victory for us.

Al and Tipper's books will never make the NY Times Bestseller list unlike Sean, Rudy and Ann. In addition, they will head to the discount rack soon, then they will be returned to the publisher. And the publisher will lay off employees to pay for Al & Tipper flop.

Simon & Schuster is a sub of Viacom. The eight million is the same as the cattle futures deal, its just a down payment for future consideration when Hillary makes her Presidential bid. It's very expensive bribing a US Senator and possible Presidential candidate.

I'm sure we will be doomed to stumble across
shelf worn copies of these tomes for decades to come
at Books a Million and other 'rest homes' for failed
literature nation wide.

"almost in a Forumesque style"
Here's the intro:
Dear White House Forum,
I never thought the stories in your magazine were real. But that all changed the night that I was in the Oval Office with my intern...

Looks like Tipper will be hitting the anti-depressants again after this publishing fiasco.

And the Dems are almost at the point of no return for the #1,126-ranked author being the nominee for President in 2004. By default, front-loaded primaries, sheer stupidity, etc.
Unbelievable. They're actually gonna let this smarmy, unpopular creep get a second try at the office.
These people aren't even worthy opponents. C'MON! GET OFF THE CANVAS YOU LOSERS! THAT ALL YOU GOT?!! Wussies.

Simon & Schuster is a sub of Viacom. Oh-the plot may be thickening within this cozy nest of vipers. Doesn't Viacom own VH-1?
And isn't VH-1, the company that changed the overwhelming boos and sneers, that hitlery recieved onstage at a production for the benefit of the fireman and policeman in NY, the company that CHANGED THOSE HEARTFELT BOOS to CHEERS before making the copies available for distribution?
Don't know why-but this always smacked of Goebbel's tactics, to me. Small but oh such a LIE!
