LOL!

Here's two I've heard at work.

When is bed time at Michael Jackson's house?

When the big hand touches the little hand.

Michael Jackson has lived the American dream. He was born a poor black child and grew up to be a rich white woman.

So many things come to mind, and yet I doubt I could top whatever you were thinking.

Fintan, your cigar could never be extinguished here...

My mind is racing...too, too many captions to choose from. But the expression on the guy's face in the background speaks volumes...

The statue doesn't look too thrilled either.

He's admiring something. It must be that alabaster complexion, yep, that's it.

Of course, that is a statue of an adult and he would never seek an adult for certain needs. IMO!

Something about how he's been looking has haunted me...I couldn't quite put my finger on it...but then I remembered those old Spider-man comics from my childhood and Morbius, the Living Vampire...

Yep...just as I thought...

It must be hard to be Michael Jackson: the self-loathing, the loneliness, the grotesque face, the fading career, the hangers-on, the paparazzi. But imagine how much harder it is to be Michael Jackson's children.

Last week's sinister video footage of Jackson dangling his baby over the edge of a fourth-floor hotel balcony railing in Berlin, to the horror of the crowd below, has highlighted the predicament of his three motherless offspring, five-year-old Prince Michael I, Paris Michael, 4, and baby Prince Michael II.

And in a world in which reproductive technology has made unorthodox family set-ups increasingly common, the story of Michael Jackson's children may wind up being a cautionary tale of our times.

"Wacko Jacko's antics are a reflection of weirdo repro," the Australian Family Association's Bill Muehlenberg said.

"As we move further and further away from natural reproduction and into laboratory experiments and parenting by committee, we might expect to see more eerie parenting habits.

"Children have become commodities in the new reproductive technologies and they are the big losers in the brave new world ofartificial families."

What was so disturbing about an agitated Jackson dangling his baby over that balcony? Why did the people below shriek with horror? Was he threatening the crowd? Look what I could do if you push me far enough. It will all be your fault.

Was it generosity, wanting to give the fans what they were calling out for? Was it just a sweet, clumsy attempt to show off his baby, a boy less than a year old?

Whatever his motive, it was clear Jackson treats his child like an object he totally controls, right down to the white towel draped over the face. And no wonder. He paid a reported $30 million for the older two.

While it is not known exactly how Jackson's children were conceived, or even who Prince Michael II's mother is, what we do know is that Jackson married nurse Debbie Rowe in Sydney in 1996, and obtained a divorce less than three years later, after she had given birth to two children in 14 months. Rowe, 42, never lived with Jackson, 44, or the children. Indications are she was a womb for hire, and the babies are entirely under his control.

Children as consumer items is the inevitable result of the baby market. The rights of the parent override the welfare of the child. Sperm donors, egg donors, surrogates are all available for the right price. You can be married or unmarried, straight or gay, single or a couple, male or female. You could be a perfect parent or you could be a nightmare.

But the extreme end of parental control is murder. There was the tragic story this year of thetwo-year-old Melbourne boy whose lesbian mother killed him and herself after the sperm donor father won joint custody. She gave him life and she took it away.

Three years ago in the US, a 26-year-old bachelor paid a clinic $53,000 to have a baby made for him, and killed the little boy six weeks later.

If you think you own a child you feel entitled to do what you like with it: kill it, deny it amother, lock it in a house with your chimpanzee.

Police in Berlin have decided not to investigate Jackson over the dangling incident. But in a statement released on Wednesday, the singer said he had "made a terrible mistake" and just got "caught up in the excitement".

The next day, there he was at the Berlin Zoo, holding hands with Paris and Prince Michael I. And there it was again, the disturbing signs of his control - strange red veils over the children's faces. This man who hated his own face so much he underwent plastic surgery every week, is now trying to obliterate his children's faces.

I feel sorry for Michael Jackson, but I feel more sorry for his children.

There is a lot of talk about Michael Jackson being near broke or bankrupt as well.
If he has three children growing up and his empire is crumbling, he could be ready to crack, no doubt.

Thanks for your comments, I found them interesting.
