Dear Ohio Wfan, I am so sorry to hear about your dad. May God's love comfort you and your family. My prayers are with you.

How'd we do on the HTML programing? Dennis and I are learning it together. He has an advantage as he use to write program in basic for the old Vic 128. And has a more detail orientated mind than mine being an electronics trouble shooter.

He'd love them. Corky's Ribs in Memphis ships them all over the world. I buy the frozen ones and heat them..half the price of going to the resturant.

Looks to be a wonderful thread, Miss Scarlett. Mind if I drop something in?
My Rate, or job, in the Navy is known as "AW", or Aviation Warfare Systems Operator. Over the years our rate has existed, many of our number have made the ultimate sacrifice. I got to thinking about it when I saw a name on a memorial plaque to the military victims of 9-11.
One of the names was that of Joe "Boats" Pycior, AW1 (AW/NAC). Joe died in the Pentagon on 9-11, and left behind his wife and two kids. Although I personally never met him, many of my friends knew him quite well, and spoke of him with great affection.
His name, and those of ALL AW's killed in the line of duty, are listed on the AW Memorial Site.Clicking on their names will tell you a little about each man.
With your permission, ladies, I'll post this link to the memorial, which everyone who wishes may visit, and pay their respects. It seemed to me to be the right thing to do today.
Simply click on the wings to go there. Thank you.

Oh thank you great aquamarine...Ow, my knees hurt. :)

We have Corky's here in Nashville (home of the original Tony Roma's, which no longer exists, darnit) but I've only been there once. I miss the Tony Roma's something terrible (and their onion loaf, of course). The chain just doesn't quite capture what the original had! But there is an amazing privately-owned BBQ place in Wilson County, near Mt. Juliet (home of Charlie Daniels!). Their BBQ is slow-smoked, and I have never had anything like it. Melts in your mouth like butter!
That is some amazing BBQ!! Best I've ever had. Kicks Tony Roma's tush, even! I am getting hungry on this thread!! ;-}
BBQ Blessings,
Beep!

Thanks for the link to the Al Gore thread. Very funny. I hope his book is the second to the lowest in sales of any book ever published, with the absolute lowest being the Hillary book that is to come out next Spring..
To: SheLion; MaineRebel; All
Thank you all for a great day on the Finest thread and Congratulations again to SheLion and MaineRebel, two Finest FReepers from the great State of Maine.
Good night everyone.

We got back to the house about 9:15 p.m. Central time. After his Outpatient skin graft we went to Dad's brother's house and had supper. Dad was Hawngry since he hadn't eaten in almost 24 hours. Then we drove back home.
The doctor said that everything went fine with the surgery. Dad hasn't had any pain in it yet. Keep it elevated, call the doc if any problems were their instructions, basically.
This skin graft was much more limited than the last one, so I'm anticipating/hoping it'll be a breeze. :O)
To: daisyscarlett; Beep
Good night you two. I'm for bed. God bless.

LOL Here's a hopeful toast to Hillery sitting in COSTCO signing books for a crowd of one! LOL On the upside, there's always Costco's "free lunch." (Aisle 9) :)
