Long Cut, I've been thinking about you today. I'm putting together a photo scrapbook album for my husband for Christmas. It's about 40 pictures of McDonald Douglas planes and GD planes all the way back to the 1960's. My husbands father worked for McDonald Douglas in St. Louis for a long, long time until he retired. These are special pictures for my husband. His dad gave them to him before he died in 1987. Any chance you guys might come over for pumpkin pie next week and help me identify all these planes? I'm just a dumb civilian. A plane is a plane to me. They all look the same. LOL

Hey Nan! I'm not sure how I'm doing. (Brilliant answer, huh?!) (G?) I have to see a local neurosurgeon to be checked for further post-op infection. The crummy incision site and surrounding area are looking and feeling rather suspicious. My neurological functions aren't right either -- my hands and arms are tingling constantly, up to right above my elbows on both arms. I'm severely clumsy with both hands as well (not to mention that it takes FOREVER to type because I keep hitting the wrong keys!). I'm a little frightened, but I should be okay. I think?? (G?!)

I hope that your hubby is continuing to improve, as well as the rest of the family! You have been in my prayers as well!

Afternoon ALL, Congrats SheLion

I see you found the photo of Rocky...the little stinker is currently snoozing. Up to a whopping 7.2 lbs. His teeth are needle sharp. I'll be glad he gets out of the chewing stage. Despite toys, rawhide chewies, hard dog food, dog treats, he thinks my scatter rug is for chewing! He is now fully potty trained.

Time for Lunch RIBS and Fries..yum, yum!

SheLion and MaineRebel, it is a pleasure meeting you both. I am a desert rat, so I am in serious awe of your fortitude in being able to survive your Maine winters. I have been as far north as New Hampshire so I know it is beautiful country in your neck of the woods, but I'm afraid I wouldn't last two weeks up there. LOL!

Thanks...did you hear Rush talking about Krugman's latest screed in the NYSlimes? Krugman was playing the ClassEnvy card saying that rich, well-connected parents were the only way folks could get ahead in America...what hogwash!! There are good parents who are poor and there are poor parents who are rich, and the lessons parents teach their kids during their upbringing are much more valuable than which gold club yer a member of...MUD
