Long Cut, I've been thinking about you today. I'm putting together a photo scrapbook album for my husband for Christmas. It's about 40 pictures of McDonald Douglas planes and GD planes all the way back to the 1960's. My husbands father worked for McDonald Douglas in St. Louis for a long, long time until he retired. These are special pictures for my husband. His dad gave them to him before he died in 1987. Any chance you guys might come over for pumpkin pie next week and help me identify all these planes? I'm just a dumb civilian. A plane is a plane to me. They all look the same. LOL
How is life?
Hi, Spooky, life's good on our end. We're going over to my folk's house for T-G din-din, but on the aircraft issue, if you can link to or post pics of the birds in question (or some just like them) I'll be happy to help ypou ID them. Check my FR homepage; I've got links to some aviation art sites, they might help as well.
Oh, and it's "McDonnell Douglas", spelled just like that. It's a common mistake. Also, General Dynamics was once known as "Convair" so that might help.
