I figured I could send an email to remind Lott to get some backbone -- I do not pay. Lott promised Sen Inhofe the head of this Committee sometime ago but then Sen Smith decided he wanted to return to the Republican Party and who gets the Committee Chairmanship -- Sen Smith!

Do I trust Lott -- no way!

I can't believe we have to even consider telling Lott to dump Jeffords. Trent Lott is a spineless bast*rd. Why isn't Don Nickels or Bill Frist the majority leader?

I must say, I agree that this ain't happenin' (the chairmanship, that is). He may return to the R party, but he likely won't even do that. In fact, I expect him to hear that he'll get nothing and immediately join the D party as a result. W didn't work this hard only to turn around and let this man run a a lawnmower, much less a committee. Besides, W hasn't forgotten what this bum did to the Education bill.

I heard Lott say that he was a Democrat (on Hannity Radio), but because of the "Win at all cost Democrat attitude" he chose to become a Republican instead.

Personally wish Lott had stayed a DemocRAT after what I have seen him do! If it were anyone else, I wouldn't think twice, but believe President Bush will have to plant his Texas boot up against Lott to give him some spine.

He talked everyone into allowing Smith to come back and take over the Chairmanship after he defected so his track record is not good!

Looks to me like someone may have set up an account with FedEx and through the wonderful world of capitalism is trying to make a buck. Negotiated a lower rate with FedEx and trying to sell it to us at a profit. It’s the American Way but a little disingenuous.

Besides, FedEx stinks. Have not used them for years and will most likely never again. They’ve done a great job of marketing themselves, but their service stinks. You want to get it there overnight I strongly suggest United Parcel Service. Their value-equation (value for the buck) seems to be much more in line.
