It must be part of that 'vast right wing conspiracy'

We participated as a family. I believe it is often called Freedom of Speech and of Assembly. Get used to it, proto-Marxists of the "vanguard of the masses" school.

Cool!

Freepers all over the nation were protesting during that Florida "Supreme" court fiasco period -- one way or another.
I was with a few hundred other Freepers on Wilshire Boulevard outside the Federal Building in Los Angeles when the U.S. Supreme Court decision overriding the Florida decisions came down.
Those Freeper protests were noticed, and they were effective.

the Gore-Lieberman 2000 logo During that campaign, I saw a photo of someone carrying one of those signs.
The photo was (accidentally, I suppose)taken so that only the left part of the sign was showing:
Go
Lie

What was done at the Vice Presidents house can be done next to the entire Congress of the U.S of A.
Freeper power is becoming a thing to be reckoned with like Rush Limbaugh and all the "Limbaugh Wannabes".
Liberal Dems be afraid be very afraid!!!! of you jobs, not your lives!
"But we in it shall be remember'ed;
we few, we happy few, we band of brothers;
for he today that voteed his conviction with me shall be my brother;
be he ne'er so vile, this day shall gentle his condition:
and gentlemen in United States of America now a-bed shall think themselves accused they were not here, and hold their manhoods cheap whiles any speaks that voted with upon our Election's day."

I think I was a FR lurker at that time. While visiting my folks in MD at Thanksgiving, I convinced my 80 yr old Dad to drive my brother and me over to see what what was going on.
We then made a circumnavigation of the NO on foot finding the "secret" back entrance. No whale noises or other counter-measures were observed coming from the property. Lots of positive responses from those driving by though. We had Gore surrounded!
"Paranoia strikes deep"!!

Does assembling and chanting in front of, and around, the Alamo make me part of the "Vast Right Wing Conspiracy" (VRWC)? I guess if it does, then I'll proudly wear the label.

I am still so proud of the DC Chapter. Sore/Loserman brings up still more fond memories. I think that I will dig out my Sore/Loserman t-shirt and ware it to work in the morning.

In point of fact, the Republican Party did not organize the protests, nor were "busloads" of protesters sent in by other groups. The protests against the inventor of the Internet were organized on the Internet.

Hey Jack, this article is in the Washington
Times, a
conservative publication, so it's
OK to post the full article. But thanks for posting the link and thanks for thinking safe anyway.
"Get out of Cheney's house!" Kristinn, Ironman, Angelwood, and all DC Freepers, THANK YOU SO MUCH for organizing this. It was my very first FReep, and I'm so glad to have been a part of this historic and EFFECTIVE event. See y'all in a few weeks. FREEP ON!!

The "vast right-wing conspiracy" is borne out of exactly what liberals CLAIM to love: Grassroots movement + Free Speech.
