Unit patch of HMM-265

CPT William "Bing" Emerson was Ralph Waldo Emerson's great-grandson.

Dear Lt Harrell We named a street after you at Phu Bai. I lived on it for a few months and always wondered who you are. I look forward to meeting you someday in heaven. Thank you for serving and loving so much--as to go in harms way for God's peace a freedom. Semper Fi.

Thank-you once again for your much appreciated memorial to our fallen heroes.

May they be at peace with our Lord and Father, and may their families be comforted by the knowledge that the ultimate sacrifice these heroes made to keep us free is recognized and appreciated.

May God Bless you and your family abundantly, ladtx.

{{{{{{{{HUGS}}}}}}}}} for all that you do!

At Post #45, I was thinking you're sure late today, but then I remembered that dansy posted today's thread practically before today even started! :)

Two candles for this date in 1968 and two for 1969.

Thank you for putting this information everyday. It's sad for me to read. We have a cousin who was a helicopter pilot in Vietnam. I wonder if you know him? He lives in Texas also.
