Out here in Northern California Rall's cartoons appear in these faux lefty tabloids that are really classified advertisements for gay, bi-, group, and other "alternative" sexual activities....

After viewing Rall's work since 9/11 I've determined that he will be much better off if his path and mine never cross in public or private.

About 5 years ago, I was on a Usenet group that Ted Rall was briefly on. He couldn't even get along with other lefties.

How comical, I don't know of any place they are laying off teachers. I heard on the radio this very morning that there is a glaring shortage of classroom teachers around here. So great, in fact, that deadwood administrative types are being called back into the classroom, to their great annoyance.
In Tucson, there are over a hundred so-called "resource teachers" who evidently do no real classroom teaching. Instead they spend their days writing grant applications and helping other teachers write lesson plans. One can imagine what a comfortable sinecure this would be for a lazy union slug with no talent for real teaching.
Now at least 20 of them are to be reassigned to the classroom, and to listen to the hissy fit the teacher's union is having, you'd think they had been ordered to clean out the septic tanks or something.
God, do I ever hate the teacher's unions. I hope their Federal subsidies can be eviscerated, now that we have control of the government.

Speaking of Doonesbury, isn't it funny how in eight years, the brilliant satirist, Gary Trudeau, could never find a single action of the clintoon administration to lampoon? We had two full terms of a scandal plagued administration including everything from a two hundred haircut shutting down a major airport, installing dictatorship in Haiti, hypocritical adventurism in Bosnia (where intentional bombing of civilian targets was the norm), BJ's in the Oval Orafice, constant allegations of sexual harrassment/assault, and philosophical hair-splitting over the meaning of the word "is"--- and yet, apparently nothing ever happened worthy of comment---except perhaps a mild reference or two of a "waffle" when clintoon had to back off appointment of an open socialist to high office or superficially modify his support of homosexuals having official status in the military.
As for this Rall character, he is simply a hate filled, pus oozing sore who is about as funny or insightful as fresh cat vomit. Ironically, he is somewhat thin-skinned when it come to personal criticism (or so I have read). I have e-mailed him a couple of times with particularly harsh and spicy messages in the hope that it is true Rall is troubled by such correspondance.
