That picture of the cats is so cute. Is that a regular cross stitch pattern as I have two cats that look just like those!
To: ladtx
Great eyes there Lad. I didn't have the heart to lay an organ out there this fine morning. Good job. ;-)

As a matter of fact, maybe FReeper MaineRebel does. He served in VietNam in the US Army from 1966-1967, 6BN27thArt. Ring any bells?

Good Morning!
I've only gotten down to #8, but I already know it is a great thread. Thanks, Billie.

Good morning, Aqua! Do send me Daisy Mae again, because after making the 'cards' last year, I didn't save the individual pets' pictures. Will need to start fresh with new pics. :)

Your Uncle sounds like my kind of guy. And I agree,. those MRI's "DO" Feel like a coffin. I can't believe they left the poor man in there for an HOUR!! (If someone is claustraphobic in them, they will usually give them sedation to help out. Or use the new one that is more doughnut shaped!) Poor guy!!
Your Uncles attitude is probably what has kept him alive this long. For all these years....
GOOD ON HIM!!
I admire that kind of spunk. I worked in medicine for over 25 years. So when I say I admire him, its because I've seen how people like him beat the odds over and over again.
At 93, and as proud a man as he is,.. they need to let him think using the walker is "HIS" Idea. He needs his dignity as a man. It sounds like it served him well for a long time. God Bless him!! :o)
Hope you're feeling good too. I didn't hear what your problem had been. But glad to hear the prayers were answered.
FRegards, Vets
To: SpookBrat
Thank you, Spook. We'll be needing help and combining ideas and photos, etc. for some of the threads when we really get into the holiday season.

YAHOOOOOOO!!!
How great to hear from you, Mr. Nan! Your wife is one very special lady .... but you already know that ...... :-)
You take care of yourself for her, OK? We're going to keep both of you in our prayers for quite a while yet!
Sounds like Uncle John may even be bossing the angels around when he finally goes home. It's wonderful to know that he's so feisty and doing well now ...... :-)
Special *hugs* for you, Nan!

Good morning, Jack, and Nan! Loved reading about your cantankerous Uncle John! What a colorful man he must be! Really glad that you are doing so much better and hope the new healthy heart program won't be too hard to follow. Such a hard time to have to start a new diet plan with all the temptations of holiday foods. The best of luck for continued recovery!
