Your Uncle sounds like my kind of guy. And I agree,. those MRI's "DO" Feel like a coffin. I can't believe they left the poor man in there for an HOUR!! (If someone is claustraphobic in them, they will usually give them sedation to help out. Or use the new one that is more doughnut shaped!) Poor guy!!
Your Uncles attitude is probably what has kept him alive this long. For all these years....
GOOD ON HIM!!
I admire that kind of spunk. I worked in medicine for over 25 years. So when I say I admire him, its because I've seen how people like him beat the odds over and over again.
At 93, and as proud a man as he is,.. they need to let him think using the walker is "HIS" Idea. He needs his dignity as a man. It sounds like it served him well for a long time. God Bless him!! :o)
Hope you're feeling good too. I didn't hear what your problem had been. But glad to hear the prayers were answered.
FRegards, Vets

Hi you two. Jack had a heart attack last Thursday. From my point of view it was a bad one (not breathing). By God's grace and provision of a cop just around the corner, he pulled through with less damage than it might have been. He's not a candidate for by-pass because the arteries involved are too small. His heart is enlarged, so he will have to be on meds and a heart rehab program, weight loss, etc. And yes, he has the same independent spirit that his uncle has. Makes it a bit difficult to make him behave. (g)
