W.E. DuBois The inclusion of this name on the list is telling. He wasn't against wholesale slaughter - as long as it was the 'right people'. He enthusiastically supported the killing of millions - knowingly - who opposed communism. A war might have stopped that.

In reality teachers probably won't teach either reason's for peace or for War because they don't wish to be called in the limelight by some whacko peacenik like the one that wrote this article. Any teacher or American Citizen that is not blind can see that we have little choice but to destroy the Terrorist threats from? You guessed it Muslims the so called Religion of Peace, if you did get one of these teachers to really state their opion the majority would vote to go kick @ss not because of P.C. but because it's the right thing to do.

The American answer to violence is violence. A bank robber is interrupted by the sound of a police car pulling up at the bank. He decides to take a group of hostages. One of the policeman outside is an expert marksman and he has a high-powered rifle in the trunk. The police call the robber at the bank and tell him to give himself up. He responds that he will shoot a hostage every ten minutes unless he is allowed to escape with his loot. He shoots the first hostage, a young girl. Ten minutes later, he shoots her brother. The marksman has the robber in his sights. But he definitely should not shoot. The answer to violence is not violence. The robber kills a nun, and checks his watch.

My GOOD liberal friend teaches with me and has a son in the Marines. HE organizes peace marches and has "don't go to war" posters all over his door.
My door on the other hand has pictures of the World trade Center before and after , and the historical picture of the firemen raising the flag over the rubble . "We Will Never Forget" is the theme.
In my classroom is a blow up rubber Earth . Taped to the globe is a " SMACK IRAQ " message in the appropiate country . Anyone who wishes is allowed to whack the globe on the way in or out of the room.
The students in my classrom also can be heard down the end of the hallway during the morning flag salute with emphasis on ONE COUNTRY and UNDER GOD.

Must be a different breed of Christian from me. I think he has forgotten a few relevant passages of Scripture, not the least of which is Romans 13.

It's sad to see people who are soooooo damn dumb that they don't even realize they're dumb.
Exhibit #1: Jack Gilroy.

These idiot anti-war types are really anti-US, anti-capitalism communists. It was exposed on O'Reilly that the Workers World Party has been organizing all the anti-war protests around the country.
If these people were really pacifists, they would be in support of the use of THREAT of war to force Saddam Hussein to expose his arsenal. Saddam is never going to disarm as long as he has the support of the socialist left.

Ah, yes, the "Peace Studies" curriculum - I never tire of reminding its adherents - Gilroy is one such - that these horrible sanctions in Iraq that they find so objectionable were the recommended course of action by none other than their own groups. Colman McCarthy is a notable example of such a sanctimonious sufferer of spot-amnesia.
I do find it revealing that Gilroy finds, in current affairs, not an opportunity to discuss but an opportunity to prosyletize and indoctrinate. This individual is better employed as a political activist than a teacher and much less dangerous to the kids.
