Stupid decisions. Let the advertisers pay for the feed and let the listeners listen for free. Looks like I won't be listening to Rush at work anymore. One more bump for Michael Savage.

Well, if it bothers you so damn much, don't listen! (By the way, "ENVY" was one of the Seven Deadly Sins when I was in Catholic School- I think it still is. It is deadly because it doesn't hurt the person you envy- it eats away at YOU.)

Gotta be careful....they (Rush and or Clear Channel) may be using this thread as a way find stations giving the feed. Many Rush stations are supposed to block the feed but many either don't have their servers set up to impose the blackout or they simply don't care and let the audio feed go out over internet. What you may have today may be gone tomorrow.

"I can't get the radio in the puter room to pick it up when the puter is on."

Try moving the radio to different parts of the room- the RF interference put out by your monitor is not spherical, so there should be at least two spots in the room where the intereference is negligible. Also, put the radio at least 6-8 feet away from the monitor. Failing that, try a more sensitive (that is, better-tuned) radio.

Yeah, I'm gonna miss those ;-) On the other hand, I'm now getting L.A. local news and traffic reports...

I am listening to local ad's. Rush gives instructions on how to find and load these stations. I don't think they are providing anything without his blessings.

Fine for you, but I'm in Canada so I won't get local anything.

Is it just me, or has he cut back on the amount of audio clips he posts on his page too? I wonder how long until that disappears.

You can STILL get Rush free. Just read whatever the official Republican party position is on any issue and you have most of what he says. Now, if you can't get Michael Savage or Michael Reagan or Bill O'Reilly this trick won't work, but just read the official party line or go to the White House press briefing and you've got the main parts of Rush's show (just imagine some jokes that'll go with the official line that must be pushed to keep the party faithful in line, and there you have it!). The other folks are unfortunately too unpredictable...but try this with Rush and you'll see how well it works.

Catholic priests do not make millions like the Baptist preachers who mostly look like pimps with gold. That is simply because there is a difference between making a living, and being a money grabbing greedy monster! That is how we got Enron, and Global Crossing.

Same crap with the Jim Rome Show. Bunch of B.S., capitalism or not. What, I can turn on a freaking radio and listen for free, but if I'm in a building with bad AM reception and can only tune in over the internet, I now have to pay? Hope there's a financial reason for this (other than just charging us more money).

I agree, beggars can't be choosers. People who want to hear Rush so badly can either move to a city where a local station broadcasts him for free or sign up for 24/7. I don't!

"I can turn on a freaking radio and listen for free,"

I can't believe that the free enterprise system is completely misunderstood, even on FR!

When you turn on that radio and "listen for free", it is because someone else is paying the bills (in this case, advertisers).

Now, reapeat after me:

THERE AIN'T NO SUCH THING AS FREE LUNCH"!!!!

Then read the Friedman's "FREE TO CHOOSE"- as good a place to start as any.

What a strange post. I have no idea what the hell you are getting at, but your thought processes seem bizarre, and your associations are a tad loose. You might want to see someone who can help you...

Listen to hannity.com - Sean claims he'll never charge for the broadcast - plus he's better, imo. freegards.
