Moran's Homepage
This landmark location, built in 1897, was formally an inn and later became St. George's Chapel during the Depression in 1929. St. George's Chapel catered to the local merchants and residents, which were mostly of Syrian Catholic descent. This area came to be known as "Little Syria." In 1979 the church retired, and the Moran family acquired and converted the site and began operating on December 26, 1986.
You can find the current ping list on my home page and I will update it with all who show interest.
Please freepmail me with any ideas or suggestions so this can be a wonderful gathering. I have been emailing back and forth with Firebrand planning the party and we are going to have a very nice turnout.

I just realized I will be at the Meadowlands at that time rooting for the Giants against the Iggles. Sorry I'll have to miss the party.

THE LATEST:
NEW PLACE
THE LANDMARK TAVERN
The Landmark Tavern (Bar/ Restaurant) 212 757-8595 626 11th Avenue (at 46th St) *The 3rd Oldest Tavern In New York*130 Years* Subway: A, E, C to 42nd St.
NEW PRICE:
$35.00 inclusive sit down dinner in private room with beer and wine now included
Menu will be posted as soon as I get it.
We just could not negotiate a guarantee for a private room at the other place.
I may have to start collecting in order to put down a deposit of 500 and I have to guarantee at least 35 people by a certain date (hopefully Dec. 20th)
I will see what I can set up regarding payment options as they want us to sign a contract for the party. Of course I will try to negotiate a BLIZZARD clause just in case so they will give us options for another date in case of BLIZZARD only!!
We can have up to 65 people at right now I believe I have at least 38 confirmed.
I will make a new post as soon as I have more details no later than December 3rd.
We have a very nice guest list and their will be door prizes and other handouts. One freeper even has teeshirts for all of us commemorating 911. A signed copy of one of Peggy Noonan's books has also been offered to us. The infamous "GO HOME HILLARY" banner signed by many notable dignitaries will also be on hand.
Thanks, Lisa
