I'd seriously consider leaving any major city at this point. Outside a 100 kiloton direct blast radius. They haven't been sitting back and whistling dixie.

No $hit - I don't think that they are smart enough NOT to try another major attack. That will mean the end of them (Arabs).

I wouldn't. AQ has never had access to serious kilotonnage. Bomb maitenance alone is a huge pain in the ass. If they have anything at all, which I doubt, it's old Soviet battlefield stuff whose blast capability I would doubt.
I don't mean to be pollyanish at all: one small Sov tac nuke can have a yield of, say, 20KT. Hiroshima was 22KT, iirc. I just doubt that they have it.
Of course, they'd be stupid enough to use it if they did have it, wouldn't they. It's not exactly as if they're reasonable folks.
There may come a time after all when we may have to kill these people, all of them, just to survive.
Be Seeing You,
Chris

I'd seriously consider leaving any major city at this point.I'm not a coward -- I'm staying put in lower Manhattan. This is my home and NYC is where I was born, and I'll be DAMNED if I'm going to let some delusional bastards who wear sheets instead of clothing run me out of my home.

How many people die in car wrecks each year? Bet it is higher than 3000!
Yet, I'll bet you aren't afraid to hit the roads in your car, are you?
Maybe you'd better hurry on down to the mosque and convert, OR face death!

does anyone know any references on the blast radius of a 100 kt nuke? PBS blast mapper only shows 1Meg.

We cannot live in fear. I realize that I say this while not living in a big city, but even if I did, I would not allow these blowhards to run me out of my home.
