CNN is reporting a new press release obtyained by Al Jazeera in which new threats are made against Washington DC and New York. Anderson Cooper of CNN was interviewing the AJ reporter who believed the 6 page statement to be credible and certainly from a senior Al Qaeda member, possibly the official Al Qaeda press office. The message threatened attacks unless the US stops supporting Israel.
...An accurate transcript of Fouda's conversation was put on the President's desk yesterday. Sources reveal that it contained, in part,"Foudy, you gotsta say something about New York and Washington. Say it quicky, because they didn't believe the Somma tape we gave you the other day. Say whatever you want, but say it now, before that flying robot lands another Hellfire up our ass. ...call when we can come out of the cave. The new recruits are getting worried, as well they should, 'cuase we're running out of goats, and they're next.The White House had no comment...I think our sleepers fell asleep in their cabs in Omoha, and Baruq's cousin in Portland changed his phone to an unlisted number and won't answer my calls.
Oh, and don't forget to tell Momma I love her.

In the immediate aftermath of 9/11 the press was circumspect, at the behest of the administration, of giving much press to the words of UBL and/or Al Qaeda. The thinking was there might be "trigger words" to sleeping cells of Islamists; code language that would give instructions about when and where to act.
How has this suddenly changed? Our press seem eager to broadcast the latest UBL statement. I've seen direct quotes from the latest audio tape, and I won't be surprised if I see text of this 'letter of warning'.
I cannot advocate forced suppression of the media--but I do question the wisdom of a broadcast executive deciding to release such potentially explosive content. There are ways to report "what" was said without direct quotes.
Our government has apparently just captured a top Al Qaeda leader. They've given us that information without giving us security-threatening details...I wish the press would think about this and consider doing the same.

I don't know about Washington, but Brooklyn and Paterson, NJ are already chock full of these pricks. So's the C train.
Personally, I can't wait for the reality TV show -- which will be abruptly canceled by the US, UK, Australian, etc., militaries. :D

Oh our immigration policy has changed. Now citizens of the U.S. can't get back into the country with children they are trying to adopt from asia, that they had previously cleared through all the proper channels. These babies are a horrendous threat, aren't they?
You don't have to be scared of them. Just be ready for them. Because they are coming. As sure as you're born, they're coming.
Al Jazeera may as well be second in command to UBL. It should be treated as such.
