Nice to see they've tightened security in the face of terrorism :-(

"They got on to the outer casing of the submarine and broke a fire alarm box. They didn't actually ring the ship's bell," she said.

If they hadn't broken the fire alarm .. do ya think anyone would have known they were there??

Kind of scary of you think about it

They should make examples out of them and Shoot them on Site without a trial as Saboteurs.

I loved the "They didn't actually ring the ship's bell" reference - like that makes it OK!

Or rather employ them to point out incredibly lax secruity at a nuclear sub site. I'll rather have these clowns running out setting off bells than an Islamikazi trying to blow it up.

Were the sub's guards distracted, off practicing the Royal Navy's tradition of buggery?

Exactly, Lelio.

The reality is that, regardless of their politics, these folks have done us a favor. Next time it will be Al Queda with TNT.

We'd better take this lesson to heart.

"We" in the allied sense. If I read the story correctly, this happened on a British sub.

Well, apparently the Brits do, anyway. I sincerely hope this would not be possible upon an American sub. Now is a good time to make sure of that.

Very misleading title. The title says "break in". The article says the nuclear submarine was boarded. Both are lies. 2 civilians did penetrate base security and even stood on top of the submarine, which is an inexcusable security breech. But the title and article state the 2 civilians got inside the submarine, which is a bald-face lie. But then what do you expect from the communist media, either here or abroad.

To the sophmoric anti-nuke activists, this may have just been a prank to try to ring the bell inside the nuclear sub.

If someone breached security, it's better they got in the sub rather than Al Quaeda.

But, they probably did us all a favor by illuminating the gross lack of security at nuclear subs.

Folks, this is a British nuclear sub in refit. It is beyond imaginiation and inexcusable that it would happen in any case, but it is not a US sub or a US base.

I always leave the titles as-is, rather than give it my own title, but it is certainly not the most accurate headline I have ever seen. In current times though, I think that this is an extremely serious incident.
