Alice's abduction took place in the middle of the afternoon doing what millions of Americans do each and every day without giving a thought; going grocery shopping at Walmart. Lock your doors to your car no matter what time of the day or night.
Thankyou very much for your prayers today, and every day. We made Alice's favorite foods today. I had the honor of making the stuffing, she was partial to my stuffing. We had a lovely dinner, a quite day, and we mourned for Alice. It was not an easy day at all despite the fact that it was quiet and pleasant. Alice's and Barry's closest friends were here for dinner, several other's came by with deep fried turkeys. Only 7 of us here and we had 4 birds!

I can't comment on the news articles seen above. I'm not sure why they exist at all.
Wasn't it James Hawkins truck that was found at the walmart parking lot after alice was abducted? They had stole a vehicle from him so I'm not sure how that comes into play with the minivan. I may be mistaken since i haven't seen the walmart video but weren't both vehicles used to trap hers? I understand the videos were made public?
In any event, I've lost track of most of it because of mixed up news and false information, in some cases, just total confusion.
All I do know is that she is still missing and missed. While we are 'survivors' and we do the best we can to stand strong, we grieve. Deeply. Now that the shock is worn off, we still sorrow, fear and grieve. Some days are surreal, some tearfilled, others seem nearly normal except that Alice isn't here.
I plan to be leaving south carolina on saturday for atlanta where I will spend a few days with one of my sisters. Haven't spent time with her since 1997. On Dec. 4 I will return home barring any important news that might keep me here.
I don't know when the actual trial will begin, but since they are trying to find the best lawyers they can get for these kidnappers, and the lawyers are going to have to spend some time becoming familiar with the case, I expect it may be a few weeks before the trial begins at the very least. I don't know how full the Federal Dockets are. I do have an advocate I can consult with from the US Attorney's office for information and help.
In the mean time, I continue to stand in prayer with all of you for Alice's continued safety should she still be alive, and for her immediate return in any event.

Thank you for posting the message from PL. It helped me as I was wondering just how Alice's family (and Samantha's) was doing yesterday. It made me feel better.
I will begin again on Monday to try and gather some info and find out what we here can do about the alerts. Please pass on ANY ideas. I will let you know what I find out.

Thank you for letting us know how Alice's family spent this day of Thanksgiving. Sadly, the upcoming days are going to be even more difficult ---- unless there is a miracle, and that is hard to even fathom at this point. How I ache for them.
I HATE injustice!! These cold-blooded creatures have all the answers, and they just let people suffer.
I'll continue to pray for Alice and Samantha and their families. We will have an answer someday, God willing.
