This is an urgent plea for help from Prairie Lady; these are her posts: [copied]
I JUST got off the phone with my neice. It seems my sister (her mother) is missing since yesterday between 3pm and 4:40pm yesterday from the SouthCarolina area.
She headed north as far as we can track, but then nothing. This is TOTALLY uncharacteristic of her.
We need to know if she is on her own willingly making decisions, or if she has been abducted and is in need of help. Is there anybody from that area that can help?
----------------------
ok, she spoke to hubbie from home via phone about 3 pm yesterday afternoon. She left home at that time saying she was headed for her local walmart near Aynor South Carolina..I don't know the exact town...maybe conroe or something? She never made it to walmart. Survaliance tapes show she never went in there. She withdrew some money from the bank locally. She put gas in her car at the north carolina / south carolina state line (cherry creek). She withdrew a BUNCH of money in Raliegh Durham North Carolina. She spoke to her daughter at 4:30 saying she was going christmas shopping and that she would be late. But she never made it home.
If she had any inclinations to leave home, she never indicated it, and she would NOT be heading NORTH!!
She is 5'7 inches tall, LONG legs, 150 lbs, has very short medium brown hair. lots of freckels, hazel eyes. Driving a Dark Blue BMW 4 door with a mini antennea on the driver's side on the post between the door and the windshield, licence plate # 845HLG
----------------------
Go ahead and post it at freeps..thanks
----------------------
My brother in law is former military police. He made a call to the police and is tracking bank usage which is showing itself to be very abnormal such as numerous attempts to use the various cards but rejects due to wrong pin numbers. He's requested survalance tapes from the banks as well. She was supposed to go to walmart, but walmart survaliance tapes show she never made it there. So, hes compiling stuff to show that something IS very wrong.
Also, she talked to her daughter AFTER one of the cash drafts and said someting weird to her daughter...like I love you...and she NEVER says that to THAT daughter.
Anyway, I didn't want to put all this on the boards...
This is too weird.

What's the best way to get this story in O'Reilly's field of vision? He has come down hard on defense attorneys whose clients are so obviously guilty; where the attorneys continue to represent these cases and subvert the truth from leaking to the families of the victims. Cochran comes to mind, as well as Chesterfield's attorneys...Feldman being one of them, I think.

Chadrick E. Fulks, 25, and Branden L. Basham, 21, escape from the Hopkins County Jail in western Kentucky, by climbing the wall of an enclosed "outdoor" recreation area and pulling loose the chain link-style wire mesh covering it. Authorities remain uncertain the route the two traveled to cover the nearly 10 miles from the jail, west of Madisonville, to Hawkins' residence -- or where they would have ditched their black-and-white striped jail uniforms for the street clothes they were wearing Tuesday night.

The two asked to use the phone and then asked Hawkins to drive them in his truck to a neighborhood store. Hawkins, a soft-spoken man, said he wanted to help. "Next thing you know," Hawkins said, "I had a knife pulled on me." Basham held the knife and told Hawkins to keep driving.

Midnight - At approx. midnight, the escapees had the victim exit the truck near Evansville, Ind, where Hawkins was secured by duct tape and an electrical cord to a tree in a field off Old State Road. Fulks and Basham told him they would send someone to free him after they had an opportunity to get away in his (light blue 1989 GMC pickup) truck. No one ever came. Hawkins struggled nearly 15 hours, rubbing the duct tape against the tree until it finally broke & he escaped around 2.pm. Wed. afternoon.

Extra information -
December 7, 2002
Road signs along U.S. 17 from Winnabow to Myrtle Beach could lead to Alice's body. Investigators are looking for signs with key words like:
Animal
Landfill
Park
Preserve
Wildlife
They're also looking for information concerning a bucket truck, which is used to trim trees.
'There's no evidence to indicate she made it back. All clues point to Brunswick County, N.C.'
A new clue Friday energized the search for Alice Donovan, the same day police formally abandoned hope of finding the 44-year-old Galivants Ferry woman alive.
Brunswick County, N.C., Sheriff Ronald E. Hewett would not say whether the 1 p.m. tip came from eyewitnesses or Kentucky jail escapees Branden Basham and Chadrick Fulks, the two men charged with kidnapping Donovan from the Wal-Mart in Conway on Nov. 14. Hewett said he could not reveal any specifics about the clue.
About 50 police officers and trained search-and-rescue workers combed through undisclosed wooded areas looking for Donovan on Friday afternoon. As team members searched shoulder-to-shoulder, Hewett issued a cryptic plea to resi-
dents to reveal anything odd they may have seen between Winnabow, N.C., and Cherry Grove the day she disappeared.
He asked that anyone who saw Donovan's blue BMW 318i or anything else suspicious near signs with the words "wildlife," "park," "animal," "preserve" or "landfill" between 5 and 6:30 p.m. Nov. 14 to call police.
He also wants to hear from anyone who operated a bucket truck, a truck used to trim trees or work on power lines, or saw someone else operating a bucket truck that day along or near U.S. 17 between Winnabow and the state line.
The Brunswick County landfill is off U.S. 17, just south of Winnabow.
"I know this sounds like a jigsaw puzzle," Hewett said, but added it could lead to finding Donovan.
It is important to find her as quickly as possible to preserve any evidence at the scene, he said.

PORTAGE - CHILD NEGLECT - TINA SEVERANCE
Woman who left with escapees faces charges
A Portage woman who traveled to South Carolina in November with two escaped convicts has been charged with neglecting her 14-year-old child during that time.
Tina Severance, 34, of 521 Fifth St., faces up to three years in jail if convicted of child neglect. She is accused of leaving the child alone without food or heat for four days.
The two convicts, Chadrick Fulks and Branden Basham, are accused of going on a multistate crime spree after their escape from a Kentucky jail. They picked up Severance and Andrea Roddy of Chesterton, traveled to Myrtle Beach, S.C., and left the women behind.
Before their capture, Fulks and Basham allegedly abducted a woman from a Wal-Mart parking lot, taking her BMW. The woman is still missing.
Severance already faces a felony charge of aiding in theft. In that case, Severance is accused of luring a former acquaintance away from his Michigan City home long enough for the others in her group, which included the two convicts, to enter through an unlocked door and steal the handguns.

Yes, it seems like they went back to the hotel where the women were staying.
- They had lost Tina Severance's minivan, which Severance and her girlfriend would have to have noticed and in theory been concerned about.
- They had acquired Alice's BMW, which also would have caused comment from the women.
- They might have discussed what transpired in the time they were gone.
- Or, they may have returned with either Alice alive or a body, though either seems unlikely.
At minimum, the women know more that they alluded to in the first interviews. That, along with the child abuse indictment, makes Tina Severance's comments to the newspaper in November about their trip and her infatuation with Fulks exceptionally creepy and suspicion-inducing rather than just dumb.

A Portage woman who traveled to South Carolina in November with two escaped convicts has been charged with neglecting her 14-year-old child during that time. It's a good thing the child was 14.....given her mother's obsession with Fulks, she would probably have left even a much younger child alone, with disastrous consequences.
I hope these charges are just the tip of the iceberg. As gmoPBCFL has noted, both women must know a lot more than they've revealed.

I wonder if there were custody and/or neglect issues before her trip to S.C... As I cut and pasted below, Tina was arrested by police for the gun robbery in which she and Miss Roddy were accomplices, as she walked out of a custody hearing on Dec. 3. My heart and prayers go out to this child.
"Michigan City (Ind.) police Detective Cpl. Jeff Cuma confirmed that he and his partner arrested Severance while she was attending a custody hearing for her daughter Dec. 3.
"We saw her arrive and politely introduced ourselves; she went in [to the hearing] and we took her into custody when she came out," Cuma said."

Velveeta,
Read Seattle's #2307.
When F & B left the hotel in Tina's minivan on Thursday, November 14th, Fulks told Severance he loved her, then he and Basham said they were going to make a food run in her minivan "and we never saw them again," she said.

Insert here: robbery of mobile home, shooting at Mr. Jordan, ditching Tina's minivan when it got stuck in mud, theft of a truck, ditching the truck in Wal-Mart parking lot, *abducting Alice*, various stops over several hours traveling into NC, and THEN BACK TO THE hotel.
6:30 p.m. (approx.) - Both suspects **were back at an unnamed South Carolina motel**, Sheriff Hewett said. And no evidence in North Carolina or South Carolina indicates that Mrs. Donovan made it back with them, he said.

Wouldn't F & B have seen Tina and Andrea there? How 'bout that food, guys??? What did the women think and/or know when the guys wanted to leave again?
One would think that a "neat freak" who showered a 100 times a day would have stayed at least long enough to have showered mud and/or evidence from his person, before making the overnight trip up to WV. (maybe his neat status that she describes was prevalent during their trip......perhaps because Fulks abducted Samantha and later Alice???)
So, it appears to me, and Seattle caught my implication...that Tina is lying. My question then, is why? If she were not involved, would admitting the guys returned but then suddenly left again somehow be damaging to her or the guys? Why would it if she didn't have a clue about the guys' actions? Maybe they were muddy? What more does she know or did she witness?

FULKS' GIRLFRIEND SPEAKS TO TEAM 15
Shortly after Chadrick Fulks and Brendan Basham escaped prison, Fulks' girlfriend tells Team 15 they showed up at her house and easily convinced her and her roommate to go on a road trip.
Fulks, Basham, Fulks' girlfriend Tina Severance and a friend ended up driving to Myrtle Beach.
That's where Severance tells us Fulks and Basham left her and her friend at a motel.
Severance tells us she is shocked that Fulks' capture did not have a fatal ending.
She says he called his mother and said he would not be taken alive.
Tina Severance says she met Chadrick Fulks two years ago at the Westville Correctional Facility in Indiana.
He was serving time there.
She worked there as a jail guard.
Severance says she and Fulks had plans to marry once he was out of jail.
When he showed up at her door, she claims she did not know he had escaped from jail.
Severance says she and her roommate decided to go with the men on what they thought was a road trip.
She says she booked the four a room at the Beach Walk Motel in Myrtle Beach, a place where Fulks had stayed before. Just a few hours later, Fulks and Basham left the motel and never came back. According to the FBI, Fulks stole Severance's van and used it to drive to the Conway area and steal guns from a home.
Shortly afterwards, police believe the two men kidnapped Alice Donovan.
Severance says Fulks never called after he left.
She does not know anything about Alice Donovan's whereabouts.

She says he called his mother and said he would not be taken alive. I'd forgotten he said this. Maybe he knew he'd done something so terrible that he'd probably get the death penalty if convicted, so he preferred to go down fighting.
I seem to recall he had some kind of reaction (paled? flinched?) when told that he could face the death penalty if Alice Donovan was not found alive. Sounds like he has an aversion to the death penalty. LEOs must have timed his capture perfectly so that he had no opportunity to resist. Good work, guys.

I have felt all along that Tina & Andrea were more involved in this whole thing then they let on.
Now I am wondering about Beth McGuffin - it seems strange that F&B were in her area on Nov.15th & 16th and stayed with her. But they were also in that same area on Nov.11th & 12th {the time of Samantha's disappearance} and there is no mention of them being with her.
At first, I thought maybe they were looking for Beth's house on the 11th, and came in contact with Samantha by accident. But then, I remembered that Fulks and his wife{Veronica} and baby had stayed with Beth during the summer - so he knew where she lived.
I find it strange that these 3 women have conveniently distanced themselves from F&B on the exact dates that murders may have been commited !

As gmoPBCFL has noted, both women must know a lot more than they've revealedThese women helped these creeps steal guns. What the heck did they think the guys were going to do with the guns???? I hope the women go down for their part in the murders of Alice and Samantha.
Tina *knew* that Chad called his mother and told his mother that he would not be taken alive. I join you all in the opinion that: Tina and Andrea know alot more about this than has been been reported in the press. I don't understand why charges have not been filed against Andrea Roddy yet??
I'm not sure about Beth McGuffin's involvement except that I never saw any indication that she notified police that Chad was at her house.

Suspect describes slaying
Woman who disappeared was raped and stabbed, according to statements
By CLIF LeBLANC
Staff Writer
One of the men accused in the November disappearance of a Gallivants Ferry woman told investigators his co-defendant raped, strangled and stabbed her.
The escapees from a Kentucky jail then dumped Alice Donovan's body near a cemetery southwest of Raleigh, suspect Branden Basham, 25, told investigators in one of the four accounts he's given.
Basham's statements, made public for the first time Wednesday in a Columbia courtroom, are the most detailed description of what might have happened to the 44-year-old wife and mother. Her body has not been found.
Federal prosecutors here, where the case is being heard after being transferred from Florence, doubt Basham.
Prosecutors said Wednesday they think Basham is more involved in Donovan's presumed homicide than he has admitted.
Both defendants were in court but said little.
Basham's accounts of the crime are in a memo filed Tuesday in Columbia's federal court.
Trial Judge Joe Anderson refused Basham's motion to seal the memo, which summarizes his statements.
A trial is six months to a year away, defense attorneys say.
U.S. Attorney Strom Thurmond Jr. is considering the rare step of asking for the death penalty, but said he has yet to file murder charges.
Basham told investigators he and fellow jail escapee Chadrick Fulks, 21, carjacked Donovan and her dark blue 1994 BMW sedan Nov. 14 from the Conway Wal-Mart parking lot, where she was Christmas shopping.
Basham told several versions of a five-state crime spree that began 10 days earlier when he and Fulks escaped from the Hopkins County, Ky., jail.
Basham, charged with carjacking and kidnapping, was serving five years for forgery. Fulks was held on charges of credit card fraud, theft and a felony possession of a firearm. He faces similar charges as Basham's in Donovan's disappearance.
On Thanksgiving day, Basham gave his most recent account of the killing when he and his lawyers took authorities to where he and Fulks had left Donovan's body.
He led them to a cemetery in the Winnabow area of North Carolina's Brunswick County, about 40 miles from the capital.
Basham said he would recognize the place because Donovan's purse strap, used by Fulks to strangle her, would be nearby.
When that search turned up nothing, Basham gave his lawyers - Columbia's Cam Littlejohn and Billy Monckton of Myrtle Beach - another account.
Prosecutors say the lawyers relayed this version of Donovan's final hours:
Fulks raped her in the back seat of her car then choked her with an 18-inch purse strap. They put her body in the trunk.
Basham said he threw the strap out of the car window.
About an hour later, Fulks got worried that Donovan might not be dead and could tamper with the tail lights to get help.
Fulks found a dirt road in what Basham described as an animal park or a wildlife area. They stopped and Fulks stabbed Donovan with a knife and slit her throat.
The pair dragged her about 50 feet into the tree line and covered the body with brush.
Fulks threw the knife out of the window as they left.
Later, they dumped Donovan's clothes, but Basham said he doesn't know where.
Investigators found no trace of blood during tests of the BMW. The car was found about Nov. 20 in Indiana.
Federal prosecutors have asked the judge to disqualify Littlejohn and Monckton as Basham's lawyers because they have become potential witnesses.
Anderson is considering that request.
