This is an urgent plea for help from Prairie Lady; these are her posts: [copied]
I JUST got off the phone with my neice. It seems my sister (her mother) is missing since yesterday between 3pm and 4:40pm yesterday from the SouthCarolina area.
She headed north as far as we can track, but then nothing. This is TOTALLY uncharacteristic of her.
We need to know if she is on her own willingly making decisions, or if she has been abducted and is in need of help. Is there anybody from that area that can help?
----------------------
ok, she spoke to hubbie from home via phone about 3 pm yesterday afternoon. She left home at that time saying she was headed for her local walmart near Aynor South Carolina..I don't know the exact town...maybe conroe or something? She never made it to walmart. Survaliance tapes show she never went in there. She withdrew some money from the bank locally. She put gas in her car at the north carolina / south carolina state line (cherry creek). She withdrew a BUNCH of money in Raliegh Durham North Carolina. She spoke to her daughter at 4:30 saying she was going christmas shopping and that she would be late. But she never made it home.
If she had any inclinations to leave home, she never indicated it, and she would NOT be heading NORTH!!
She is 5'7 inches tall, LONG legs, 150 lbs, has very short medium brown hair. lots of freckels, hazel eyes. Driving a Dark Blue BMW 4 door with a mini antennea on the driver's side on the post between the door and the windshield, licence plate # 845HLG
----------------------
Go ahead and post it at freeps..thanks
----------------------
My brother in law is former military police. He made a call to the police and is tracking bank usage which is showing itself to be very abnormal such as numerous attempts to use the various cards but rejects due to wrong pin numbers. He's requested survalance tapes from the banks as well. She was supposed to go to walmart, but walmart survaliance tapes show she never made it there. So, hes compiling stuff to show that something IS very wrong.
Also, she talked to her daughter AFTER one of the cash drafts and said someting weird to her daughter...like I love you...and she NEVER says that to THAT daughter.
Anyway, I didn't want to put all this on the boards...
This is too weird.

Local women left with escapees
BY KEN KOSKY
Times Staff Writer
PORTAGE -- The law enforcement dragnet set out to capture two Kentucky jail escapees has ensnared two Porter County women.
Two men escaped from a Kentucky jail earlier this month, then began kidnapping people and taking their vehicles, authorities said.
The men also came to Portage to see a woman one of them knows and to use her vehicle, police said. Authorities believe the Portage woman and another woman from Chesterton left with the two convicts.
But one of the escapees, Branden Basham, 21, was arrested Sunday night in Ashland, Ky. The other man, Chadrick Fulks, 25, was spotted Monday in Ohio, but remains at large, police said.
Also missing is a woman the escapees are accused of kidnapping Thursday in a Wal-Mart parking lot in Conway, S.C.
The two Porter County women were taken into custody at a South Carolina motel and are being questioned in the case, according to Kathy Guider, special agent with the FBI in Indianapolis.
Their identities were not being released and Guider did not know whether they would be charged with any crimes. Guider did say that authorities believe the women traveled to South Carolina with the escapees voluntarily.
"At least one of them knew one of these gentlemen previously. I believe the women knew each other," Guider said.
The escapees apparently came to Portage a short time after their Nov. 4 escape.
"We got information from the FBI -- they were driving through our city," said Portage police Cpl. John Ryan.
"They were looking for a female who lives in our city who is an acquaintance with one of the escapees."
Ryan said FBI agents were driving past a motel on U.S. 20 in Portage on Nov. 9 when they spotted a pickup truck the suspects are accused of carjacking Nov. 5 from a Kentucky man. The Kentucky man was tied to a tree in Vanderburgh County, Ind., and later escaped.
Portage police assisted in checking all the rented motel rooms, but the suspects were not found. It is believed they, and the two women, left town in the Portage woman's van.
The van was found near the scene of the abduction outside the Wal-Mart in South Carolina. There, Alice Donovan of Galivants Ferry, S.C., was kidnapped and her BMW was stolen. Neither Donovan nor her car have been found.
Ohio troopers said they believe they spotted Fulks late Monday sleeping in a blue BMW parked in a rest area in Marion County, in north-central Ohio. The man, who sped off when the trooper ordered him out of the car, nearly ran over another officer. The pursuit was halted to make sure the officer was OK.
On Tuesday, Ohio state troopers searched near a rest stop where a man believed to be Fulks fled from state troopers Monday night. Authorities believed the car he was driving was damaged crossing a highway median to avoid capture.
While the search continues, Ryan said he has received no information to suggest the remaining escapee would return to Porter County.
"We're keeping an eye on this location (in Portage) where the female lives," Ryan said.
Still, he said people should always be aware of their surroundings and should watch for suspicious people.
Ryan said the story of the escape has been played on CNN, so the remaining escapee is probably switching cars and locations on a regular basis.
The escapees were in Hopkins County Detention Center in Madisonville, Ky. Basham was serving a five-year sentence for writing a bad check and Fulks was awaiting trial on multiple charges, police said.

Video of suspect online
The Ohio State Highway Patrol has released an in-car video it believes shows fugitive Chadrick Fulks in a Marion County, Ohio, rest area. Investigators said Fulks, 25, of Lewisburg, Ky., is still at large and described as a white male with light brown hair, blue eyes, 6 feet tall and 200 pounds. Fulks is considered armed and dangerous.

Patrol Searches for Jail Escapee
Ohio State Patrol Searches for Kentucky Jail Escapee and Kidnapped Woman
COLUMBUS, Ohio Nov. 20 State troopers scoured the streets for a Kentucky fugitive who allegedly kidnapped a 44-year-old woman during a two-state crime spree.
Family members of Alice Donovan said they hope her knack for gaining trust and her friendliness will buy her safety. Authorities believe Donovan was kidnapped from a Wal-Mart parking lot in Conway, S.C., by Chadrick Fulks and L. Branden Basham.
...
The State Highway Patrol had not found the car by Tuesday night, and troopers had "no idea" of Fulks' whereabouts, said patrol spokesman Lt. Gary Lewis.
"The best we can do is keep on his trail," Lewis said.
...
Donovan, of Galivants Ferry, S.C., vanished Thursday.
"She's a good listener and cares about other people," her sister Gloria Lindsey said. "I can't help but think that if the kidnappers just let her talk, gain her trust and get to know her, they would not harm her."
Without elaborating, Kentucky police said Basham's arrest yielded "a lot of leads" in the search for Donovan.
