Celebrate the Second Amendment by buying an extra 100 rounds of ammunition on November 19th. Great for hunting, self-defense, target practice and annoying the anti-gun lobbyists.
Announcement: We will now be able to collect ammunition purchase reports from individual buyers in addition to sellers. The form is in test mode now. Please visit the page and help us test the database. Please feel free to send your suggestions or comments of the form and the report so we have a chance to make it as perfect as possible before November 19. Thank you!

Oh! Canada
We received this e-mail (10/21/02 9:15 am):
We Canadian gun owners have heard it's your birthday and our freedom-loving neighbors are gearing up for a National Ammo Day!!
Well when I got wind of that, I thought... hmmm... How can we make his birthday better?... So I e-mailed everyone on the Canadian Firearms Digest (Canada's largest on-line firearm news subscription) and the Canadian Access to Firearms paper (Canada's version of Shotgun News) to get the message out that our American neighbors deserve our support and show of strength !!
Gun control knows no borders... it affects us all the same way !!
So... On November 19th: We plan to say a very special Happy Birthday to you... by buying up all the ammo here in Canada too !!! That should send a very strong message to politicians on both sides of our borders !!
Happy Birthday Kim !!!!
ON NATIONAL AMMO DAY..........GUN NUTS PLEDGE TO " HANG OUT TOGETHER " !!! (at local gun shops that is ) - Sincerely, {name omitted} - Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada On behalf of the Gun Owners in Canada !!

Million Round March?
Congratulations. I won one in a contest last month. It is already my favorite rifle. Got to buy some of that surplus machine gun ammo on the belt. Its cheap and works great for target shooting.
A couple of Garand tips I learned at Camp Perry. Keep a firm grip on the bolt handle when putting fingers in the action area. The injury is called M1-Garand Thumb and it is nasty.
Never let the bolt slam forward to chamber a round. Due to the long bolt travel and heavy spring a slam fire can occur. It is rare but the stories of bruised body parts abound. Grip the bolt and ease it forward about half way, then let it go.
Have fun. Mine got in the bulleye at 200 yds the first time I shot it.
