FYI, "somebody" just posted an item at DU inquiring whether others were concerned by Pelosi's claim to be a conservative Catholic. It will be interesting to see what kind of responses are made.

Someone at DU posted a reply saying she wasn't concerned by Pelosi's statement since JFK also said that his Catholicism wouldn't affect the way he governed, and it didn't.

Perhaps so. But what kind of morally vacuous person could on the one hand claim to be a conservative Catholic and then go out and fight for what conservative Catholicism would consider a horrible abomination?
