One week ago, the vice president of the Washington, D.C., chapter of the United Negro Improvement Association was told by a representative of the Sudan Embassy to not participate in the demonstration. The UNIA said it urged the embassy to issue a statement rescinding the fatwa, but was refused.

Another demonstration, in Los Angeles, had to be canceled, Boof said, "because the organizer was so terrified about Farrakhan's people calling her that she pulled out." ...

We have a big mess on our hands. It's not realistic to call for shipping out all muslim US citizens, many of whom were born in the US. Internment camps? I don't think so. IMHO, GW's heavyhanded survelliance and 'questioning' program is about the best way to go. Combine that with super tight border control, which Bush is opposing, and with simply refusing to allow more immigrants/students/tourists from muslim dominant countries, and we would be even safer.

So far, post 9-11 terrorism in the US is much lower than I thought it would be.

About 12 years ago, there was this black militant muslim group on the Donahue show. The things they were threatening to do was scary. And the real scary thing is they said they would do these things in about 10 years. There was a main leader dressed in all black clothes and of course sunglasses. A friend who works in a federal prison in Illinois confirms everything this article says - and he says it's a lot worse. There is a direct link between Saudi Wahabbist radicalism and the imams that work in these prisions. The NOI members in prison are being converted into home-grown terrorist sleepers. We have only seen the tip of the tip of the iceberg with Malvo and Muhammad. The fifth column that in this country: the radical (white) left, radical lawyers, black muslims, etc. is growing steadily. When the real world war breaks out in a few years we will have a very, very serious internal problem to deal with.
