Oh, thanks. I wish I was close enough to give that to her. :O) I will be, soon I hope. My Aunt and Uncle (Dad's brother and SIL) said they could take over and watch Dad for a couple of days so I could get back home for a break. We'll see how that goes.
We went to Tyler this afternoon so they could do the skin graft, but they didn't do it because Dad started having some numbness and tingling in his right hand that he hadn't had before. It started today - this morning was the first time he'd noticed it. Anyway, instead of a skin graft, they made room for him and did a CT Scan before we left. The Anesthesiologist was concerned and didn't want to put tubes down his throat and risk anything with his neck fracture. So we'll call the doctor in the morning and see what the new plan is. The doctor told us that he wanted to find out what's going on with the neck before doing the skin graft. Sounds like the right plan to me.
