This flag display was phenomenal. I live down the street from where this display was and got to take one of the flags home. People came from all over the state to view it.

Exactly. I live in Utah, and I heard not a peep about this display.

I am assuming the display is no longer there then. Darn, I was hoping to see it.

Found a few more pics...
I'm looking for an overhead, but can't find one yet.

Well done, WSGilcrest. It seems to me this display has great impact because of the size of these flags - they look to be about the height of the average human.

Those are flags which are sold to Boy Scouts.
There is a big flag manufacturer on the other side of I-15 near there. As a fund raiser, for a nominal fee, the Scouts put up a flag on the holidays and memorial days of the calendar. They buy those flags and people who support the Scouts have them in front of their houses. We just did the Veteran's day flags. (It raises $1500/yr for our troop here in Orem.)
Cheers.

We do the same thing in our neighborhood. It helps the Boy Scouts out, and it is nice to have them remember to put out and take down the flags on national holidays.

Thank you for the wonderful photos. This display confirms the fact that our country is great and the reason it is so great-are the people who reside here. Ordinary people who get up everyday and work hard to do their very best. Take care... Cate

My God!
I'm simply speechless.
I'm reminded of the rows upon rows of simple grave markers at Normandy and Arlington.
Thank you for sharing this with us!

Thanks Utah Girl,
This tribute was done very well for those on 9/11. What they did was a wonderful tribute and brought it into our home (Utah) reality in just how many we lost on that day. I was very pleased that this was here in Utah showing that we care as well. I remember the silence, the love and the humbling feelings you received from this Tribute. Seeing these pictures brought this Tribute day all back to mind. These pictures are beautiful. The person/s that took these did a great job of making you feel, think and weep.
Thank You, "We Will Never Forget!"

Thanks for the post. Makes me happy to be a Utahn.

I never saw any news reports on this tribute in the newspapers. I tend not to watch the TV news regularly, but I can't believe the print guys missed this tribute.
To: Utah Girl
I guess they left it out, becuse it might offend some folks.

In Utah though, we're pretty patriotic. I would think at least the Deseret News would have had something on it. I will ask my sister who lives near Sandy if she heard anything.
