I'd prefer to hear Lott say "Let's have a roll call vote for a new majority leader..."
To: AppyPappy
He said it, but he sure didn't say it with conviction. He's so wishy-washy.
To: AppyPappy
I'm thirsty.

I know that it is the popular thing here to bash Lott. I guess I will anger all of you who are trashing him this morning. I think we need to support him today. Here is why...
When he was Majority Leader with X42, he had to work with a lying scumbag whose word was never his bond. He had a slim majority and determined enemies in the Senate. When he took over 2 years ago, he didn't truly have a majority. He had Dick Cheney to cast the deciding vote. Perhaps he made a mistake with the sharing power, but look what happened when Daschle took over. There was no accommodation. No power sharing. Nothing! The precedent has now been set. What Daschle and Hillary have sown is theirs to reap.
Thanks to the Democrats, Lott is free to reset the Committee staffing and budgets, and the pundits who would have screamed every day about NOT sharing power cannot demand it this time.
It is easy for us who sit in front of our computers to believe that we know so much more than the men and women who have to actually work in the poisonous atmosphere that is called Washington DC. We don't have a clue!
Jen, who is savoring the victory GW and our great candidates won for America last night!

Folks can say what they may but Lott of lately has shown that he is sick of the demorats and has some intestinal fortitude. Maybe he will now shove the stuff down the demorats throats.
Note to self: Call Lott's office today and tell him so...
To: FlyingA
Lott is such a freakin' pantywaist.
Look, we had control of the Senate before with Lott in there and he SQUANDERED it and we lost control. We have to learn from our mistakes and give Lott the boot. We have to put a Senate Majority Leader in there who has the balls do do what needs to be done.

I heard Lott say this morning that before he left the house his wife told him "okay Big Dog, you've been chasing this car for 2 years what are you going to do now that you've caught it?" I thought that was CLASSIC!
To: Tuscaloosa Goldfinch
OOOPs, I think that should be Senatorlott@lott.senate.org
Wrong again, sunshine.
The correct email address for Senator Lott is:
spinelessjellyfish@mincingprancingmalecheerleaders.org
He's going over to Daschle's office to grab his ankles now, just watch.
Be Seeing You,
Chris

Knowing Lott, his complete phrase was "Let's roll over Well, at least it's an improvement over what he's been saying for the past year and a half: "Let's bend over and grab our ankles!"
To: IVote2
Lotts a lost cause no matter what. The saving grace is that Bush is actually the true majority leader now. Without Bush the senate would still be in rat hands. Bush will be the leader of the senate and Lott will be his message boy.

Well to everyone posting This subject is oh so important that if my thought about LOTT reading FR is true then we can make some inroads to LOTT from FR Oh and yes lets keep his feet to the fire

We have to put a Senate Majority Leader in there who has the balls do do what needs to be done. How about Bill Frist?
To: FlyingA
Bush will be the leader of the senate and Lott will be his message boy.And Cheney will be there to remind Lott of that fact. Yee haw!
