Those 3,000+ libertarian votes would have been nice to have. Alas, some people never learn.....

Bingo, annie. But you'll never convince them of that.

I understand that the absentees are still out.

Could get interesting.

Hopefully, this recount will be conducted under the supervision of U.S. Marshals.

Be Seeing You,

Chris

I'm not saying a word about chads, pregnant, hanging, or otherwise.

For a FRee Congress. For a FRee Parliament.

And TRY to get a decent Conservative spokesman over there. William Hague didn't cut it.

Cheer up. I'm certain that, one day, the GOP will finally learn to be the Party of Reagan again and thus regain those 3000 votes.

Punch cards are much better than this touch screen voting. The new method leaves no paper trail. You have to take the results on faith.

IDS is in trouble at the moment. It's much more pleasant to see how you lot have done so well than think about that.

"But the absentees are still out, I think. We won't know about this one, for sure, for at least a couple of
days, if not weeks."

Your source? There WILL be a recount but it will show some fraud and net the pubbies, IMHO!

You kidding?

They'll challenge it and deny any funny business in the face of it...

It is never an either/or for a Democrat... They demand it both ways...

America has spoken; they are tired of the Dems anti-American rhetoric; their socialist spending programs and the obstruction of Govt. Time for Katie to find a new country to pass her lies along to.

ABC is VERY premature! Not only there are 3 precincts left, they will go 90% Johnson based on corruption /election fraud. ABC's numbers are even old!

They're stealing it right this moment!

Thune is now ahead only 135 votes with 3 precincts left to report. 2 are in corrupt Shannon county, 1 in Hamlin county.
If the numbers in these two corrupt places are allowed to stand, then Johnson will win.

'Clearly Signed by the Same Person'

The Wall Street Journal reports a Shannon County election clerk received a high number of new voter registrations, many "clearly signed by the same person" and some hailing from Nebraska.

Bret Healy, the executive director of the South Dakota Democratic Party, has said he notified the U.S. attorney about the fraud and subsequently fired contractor Becky Red Earth-Villeda after she allegedly submitted invalid voter registrations.

If I cheer up anymore, my face is gonna crack! The irrelevance of L's isn't that heavy on my mind! They're just pitiful....

I like our system. You have a paper ballot with the names of the candidates and their party. You mark an X alongside the one you want. ;)

I can't find this story anywhere on ABC.com. As of 7:50am SD website still has 3 precincts left to report and Thune (R) up by 135 votes.

The great thing about this country is that people are free to vote for whomever they want. Yeah, it would have been great to get the 3,000 Lib votes--but if they are not ideologically matched, it won't happen.

We could have gotten the other few thousand indies who voted for the other side too.

I'm not a libertarian, but come on, if the party and candidates aren't getting it done, they wont get the votes (just look at the Dems this morning!)
