Thread of Thanks: A debt of gratitude to Jim and John Robinson and FR.
Posted on 11/06/2002 4:33:08 AM PST by RedBloodedAmerican
We can't say "Thank You" enough for your hard work and efforts. We know the results of the elections last night was a personal goal for you as indicated by many of your posts, as well as one of the goals of FreeRepublic, and you worked hard towards that end.
Congratulations, and thank you. FR played an important role in getting out the truth and facts, tearing down the lies and spin, in spite of the odds from Dems, disruptors, AF'ers and those on other sites whose goal it was to derail you.

So thrilled to see the nation getting back on track. Sincere high-fives to all Freepers who obviously worked incredibly hard to achieve this just victory. Hooray for Jim and John R., awakened citizens everywhere, President Bush, and our beloved Republic!

Jim and John Robinson, Thank you with all my heart for FRee Republic , your gift to us and to all of America! Thank you for your lives and for your vision for FR.

I want to personally thank JimRob for supporting the conservative agenda, as advanced through the political influence of the Republican Party. Retaking the Senate was critical, if President Bush was to ever have an opportunity to further impliment his agenda. JimRob was there to remind all FReepers that the leftwing needed to be defeated and liberal Democrats needed to be thrown out of power. Your support was greatly appreciated.
And I personally want to thank PhiKapMom, for posting crucial information relating to all the Senate races and keeping all FReepers up to date on what was going on, during the lead up to election night.
Now that Republicans have retaken the Senate, it will be up to President Bush and the governing Republican majority in Congress, to make it happen. There are no excuses.

1998 must have been a very good year for America. Thank you Jim for your vision and determination to keep going no matter what. I hope you are reaping the rewards also.

"D.I.Y. - Do It Yourself - approach to getting things done" Couldn't agree more...seems almost libertarian...MUD

"Anarchy in America." As an avowed Anarchist, have you ever noticed how avowed Conservatives attempt to discredit libertarians as "Anarchists", with the implication being that we're all fer SurvivalOfTheFittest and crazy EnviroWhackos running around looting all our cities?! Interesting that you have approached this predominantly-conservative website while actively-embracing the "Anarchist" label. Have you ever sat down and patiently discussed this sort of thing with those around here who have written you off as diametrically-opposed to RightWingPhilosophy?
You might find that such an icebreaker would be eye-opening fer both parties...then again, maybe yer just snowin' me...LOL!!
