Hey :)
"Whereyat" ? LOL. I can barely drive past the LaPlace exits without stopping at Bully's for a catfish po boy. Yum. :)
We have 3 good Republican candidates and they are splitting the vote. Of the 3 I believer Suzanne Haik-Terrell has the best chance of beating Landrieu in the runoff. She is also from New Orleans, she is very qualified and is a good campaigner. She has the support of the RNSC and she is leading the other pubbies in all the polls.

"Words of encouragement anyone?"Perhaps the commentary now is part of the 'fair and balanced,' knowing that there will be more GOP faces smiling tonight than Dem faces.

I got to hear Shep Smith say "blow job" yesterday, though.
Yeah that was funny. A combination of "G Block" "J Lo" and some other word. Shep caught himself before he finished the "ow" part of it and aplogized for it a dozen times afterwards.

Early voting results for Texas.
There are no tallies for candidates, just information about how many people voted early vs. the number of registered voters.
To: Howlin
We should have some early results in about two weeks... (after the lawsuits wind down)
;0)

Welcome to FR!
Is it true that Wellstone's name was actually crossed off?
And that you had a separate ballot that has to be hand counted?

I was born and raised in Minnesota and recently transplanted back here from California. One of the MOST shocking things is the fact that NOTHING IS ALLOWED in Minneapolis! Is it like that all over this state??????? Lord! I thought California was half-ass backwards! :)

Me too but I followed another Freepers advice and changed my preference to 20 posts instead of 100 and removed my subscriptions from the display and it has stopped the timeouts.

Brrrr, sorry about the cold weather out there. Its gonna take a mighty big and refreshing beverage to induce "calm" around here. LOL

I'm getting a good feeling here in Hawaii. We're not registered here (vote in Texas) but have donated to the Lingle campaign, all very well done with offers of rides to the polls, etc. We've gotten 3 phone calls from the Republican side, none from the Democrats. Husband is down at one of the precincts helping drive sign wavers, voters, etc. He's been very impressed with the get-out-the-vote effort here on the GOP side.

I didn't like that last segment about what a Democrat Senate means. Ky, In, SC, Vt, Va and Ga are the 7 closings (I mistakenly said NH before).
Fox keeps hinting that they are going to call Georgia Senate pretty soon after 7.
