"CNN just called Florida for Jeb Bush."
This could have enough demoralizing impact to help the western state Repubs. Let's only hope.
Remember how many repub voters left the polls while standing in line in 2000 after the media called FL for Gore.

In my part of La we had at least 50% show up with an hour and a half left. Mostly Republican in here too.
To: NEPAT
SHaheen has to get near 60% of independents to win. If she's not polling near there tonight Sununu will win. You heard it here first Pat.

Somewhere Bill Clinton is seeking solace in an intern, and Hillary is punching the walls. BWA-HA-HAAAAA! Or worse... Somewhere Bill Clinton is seeking solace in a wall, and Hillary is punching the intern. BWA-HA-HAAAAA! ;0)

That is GREAT news! What is up with CNN's Indiana results? They have not changed in an hour (even though they show as being updated). I cannot stand seeing Julia Carson ahead of McVey. Pray for a comeback!

CNN's Judy Woodruff is trying to smile....the Lautenberg win helped, but you can see the strain beginning to take it's toll on her demeanor.......
I LOVE it!

Thanks for the update. The local TV channels, here in Austin are running thier discusting sit-coms.
No crawlers, nothing on the screen to give us a hint of what is going on.
To: Dog
Thanks, Dog, for confirmation. Both races - Chocola and Northup - are HUGE.

Chocola is outpacing President Bush's 2000 numbers in the outback.

If I drink any more I will fall down. You're in front of a computer! Why are you standing up? Take a seat and grab a brew!

HBO generally puts out there movies on VHS/DVD a few months after they first air on the cable channel.

I was glad to vote for Sununu, and I hope he wins.
I reserve my remarks if he doesn't-I don't think he ran a good race, and I am very sorry to see Senator Smith leave office.

This is a shame, you're right about the fact that Forrester should have called Stern. I'll be curious to see the final margin. The Pubbies NEVER LEARN!!! Believe me, Forrester could have won that race IF ONLY he picked up the phone for 10 minutes and called Howard. This will eat at him for the rest of his life.

Has Atlanta reported yet?

You in Arkansas? Got a p/c saying Hutchinson had conceeded and the polls are closed. WHAT????????

Cameron saying Dems are now admitting Bowles didn't get the minority turnout he hoped for. Also, Cameron says that the 5% lead Shaheen has in the early returns are actually misleading because the early returns in NH come from the southern, more liberal part of the state.
Both tidbits sound promising.

CNN --- 12% precincts reporting for NC Senate, Dole (R) 55%, Bowles (D) 44%
