If you look at my chart, you can see the odds. As seats are called, you can see who is winning versus the odds. The left hand column is the number of seats the GOP will gain or lose. The range has narrowed from -29 for the GOP to plus 30 for the GOP to -28 to plus 29. Expect the range to narrow. The projection will change as folks win that I anticipated to lose.

OK, I'm ticked. AOL's stupid election alert reads "Democrats Look to Retain Control of the Senate". However, when you read the story, it just says that's what the Dems are hoping to do. What a bunch of jerks!

Ask sweetliberty or Budge who to contact in Arkansas. They were both poll watchers today. I'm not sure sweet is here yet but I just saw a post by Budge.

Okay, I'll make a point to spell bellwether correctly in the future, if you'll further explain to us about sheep and creeps. Not just creepy Democrats, however, or the nasty things some of them do with sheep.

For the benefit of those FReepers who haven't heard Pat Caddell's famous quote on
Hardball with Chris Matthews on November 27, 2000 (regarding Gore's post-election gambit):
"I'm a liberal Democrat. I started in Florida politics. I worked for George McGovern. I worked for Jimmy Carter. I've worked for Ted Kennedy, Mario Cuomo. Nobody can question, I think, my credentials and my convictions. But I have to tell you, at this point it's hard to believe, but my party, the party that [my family has] belonged to since my great-great-grandfather, ... has become no longer a party of principles, but has been hijacked by a confederacy of gangsters who need to take power by whatever means and whatever canards they can."

I'm switching to FOX!
While Peggy Noonan is great and Ashley Banfield is reporting from Jeb Bush's hotel, I'm getting really sick of Chrissy Matthews and Donna Brazile is utterly and disgustingly partisan.

Cnn.com raw data: Dole 55/44 with 12 percent in; Graham 50/49 in SC with 12 % in; Chambliss in GA 52/47 with 3% in; Sununu 52/46 with 3% in. Fox declares Sessions reelected in Alabama.

Is it true that Wellstone's name was actually crossed off? And that you had a separate ballot that has to be hand counted? Affirmative on both counts.
To: HelgaHawk
Whew. That is more encouraging. Thanks so much. :)
