Yeah, I went to bed for about 30 minutes, but I had to come out and check. Now... I may just screw sleep and make up for it tonight.
To: bigaln2
I refuse to go to bed until I see the final numbers on these two races. We already got the Senate, but this is the icing on our cake!
To: Gunder
833 of 844 precincts reporting, Thune increases lead slightly to 1500 votes!
To: rb22982
It is not 5% remaining!Sorry for yelling, but in addition to the 5% to count, there still are 336,251 additional ballots to count.
To: Gunder

In a state like South Dakota, how many votes could a recount swing in either direction? It can't be much.
Also, I would think it wouldn't be in the Democrats best interest to push too much of an investigation. They're already in hot water over the fraud on the reservations.

Where are these additional ballots coming from? It was my understanding they were counting absentees AFTER the machine totals and THEN sending in results.

Right, I want to be sure maggots like Jeffords are completely marginalized and consigned to obscurity. I want +2, +3, +4.

I understand that there will still be additional ballots to count, but if Coleman maintains a 4% lead when we get up to 100% of precincts reporting, I don't see how Mondale can overcome such a big lead.
To: Charles Henrickson
CNN has VNS calling it for Coleman.
To: bootyist-monk
Those are (very cautious) cheers you hear coming from Minnesota!!

The market moves on rumor, not fact.
