Ya don't suppose this guy is just a little ticked off? It is just a wonderful night. I had such a good feeling about this whole election. With Rush, Sean and our local guys John and Ken railing on Davis, this has been a wonderful election night.

I'm in Knoxville, but I lived in Murfreesboro from '95 to '99. At the time, I knew that Bredesen was the mayor of Nashville, but I payed little attention to who he was and what he was about (I was a student at the time). I figured that he was a decent guy because Nashville was a decent town, and I carried that belief pretty far into this election season. It's only been in the last few weeks that I've come to understand what a sleaze he is. I think most Knoxvillians are as unaware as I was -- hence the big crossover vote around here. East Tennesseans don't know Bredesen the way Nashvillians and middle Tennesseans do, unfortunately.
