Chris Matthews just suggested that Bill Frist could be a leading candidate for VP in 04 because he credits much of the success that the GOP is having in the senate races to Frist and the VP slot would be a reward. I can't disagree with Matthews, Frist has a lot going for him and I think he would have great appeal nationally.

Thanks. Davison County SD went for Bush in 2000 4,445-2,936, so that might be as much as a net 1,000 for Thune. Fingers crossed...
