Everyone has had their eyes on the senate race here, but the gubernatorial and lt. governor's races are both also too close to call -- neither one has had a Republican in office since Reconstruction.

Wouldn't it be great to have a Republican gov here? This would be a huge upset, and old Tom Murphy may see his control of the state slip away. Winning the governor race would be the first step in Republicans winning more seats statewide.

I was going to post this on a seperate post but since FR is so slow I thought I would post it here as a comedy:

EXTRA! EXTRA! BILL CLINTON IS GOING TO SUE THE STATES HE LOST. CLAIMING VOTER FRAUD.

Bill Clinton represented honest candidates and worked hard. This was not done deliberately. Mean spirited republicans voted thrice just to get back at him and he is claiming fraud and will sue.

Same here. And they were the lamest breakins I've ever seen. They literally just flipped the switch and there was the local anchor, behind the cheapest chromakey effect I've ever seen in my life. No music, no graphics, nothing. What is this, 1954?

No idea of the breakdown, but she was up 52-47 with about a third of the vote in and I thought she was cruising.

Well, now she is down with 47% to Ehrlich's 52%. With 87% of the votes in, Ehrlich is up by about 63,000 votes.

The GOP's margins on their incumbents are HUGE, compared to most of our incumbents barely eeking by. And now, CNN just called it for Sununu over Shaheen. Perhaps our BEST chance for a pickup in the Senate. Gone.... At what point will the Dem leadership wake up and realize that being total f***ing PU$$IES, afraid of the GOP and their attack dogs AIN'T GONNA CUT IT anymore. GOP-lite ain't gonna get it done, people. They could have attacked * and his policies vociferously (and by association made all Rethugs look bad) pointing out all the evil sh*t they have done since coming in. But no. SOOOO much of the time, they cowered, appeased, kept their mouths shut, didn't speak out or stick up for their ideals. Now we are seeing where that's gotten us. We're so FUC*ED.
