I think its reasonable to expect 200 threads at DU accusing Jeb Bush of terrorizing black people an hour after he is declared the winner. They had a clip on the BBC this morning showing a reporter asking some Democrats in Florida about whether they thought they were going to win. "YES!" one woman cried, "WE HAVE TO KEEP OUT OF THE BUSHES!" Word for word, Jesse-Jackson-ism. They are incapable of independent thought, but return to the collective hive, like drones, for their latest soundbite, often dripping with bile and malice.
It's clear on this side of the Atlantic. These people are evil and need to be cast out of office immediately.
Regards, Ivan

What are North Carolinians thinking anyway? They are thinking that Liddy is an anti-gun, big-government, socialist, who's husband uses Viagra.

Down in Florida the Dems are digging up graves and hauling corpses in whell chairs to the polls. They tell the poll workers that they are blind and need assistance but it's hard to get past the smell.

Back to Cameron's hints. This time, after saying that both camps say Johnson's GOTV effort has been great, he said Thune's camp says it looks good. Then after saying how Strickland's early voting efforts were superior according to both camps, he said "this one will be a squeaker" but could be a rough night for Allard (and if that sounds contradictory, I agree- sounds to me like earlier he thought Strickland had it but now is hedging).

Last minute prediction: If Mondale wins, 20 hostages are immediately taken by an Iranian terrorist cell in Minneapolis.

Local news KMOV-TV in St. Louis,
Reports that "People for the American Way" have been manning the polls, so that "their votes will not be DENIED them like they were in 2000." Although, PFTAW report that they found few irregularities, one polling place closed at lunchtime to do a noon-day count. "They were not supposed to close."

Checking in from a wet and muggy south Louisiana. I'm not going back out in the rain again tonight for any reason. LOL Really light turnout at every precinct I've been to all day.Hi Darlin'. Here in St. Tammany we had a heavy turnout. As I'm sure you know, St. Tammany is heavily Republican. At my precinct the poll workers told me at 10 a.m. that so far the turnout had been much higher than in 2000. The workers at my parents' precinct told them at about the same time this morning that turnout there was about triple what it was at the same time on election day 2000.
