Please post as much election information as you can on this thread, so we won't have a million separate threads running at one time.
And, please, NO GRAPHICS -- just links!
Is that real?
No mercy.
Coming soon: Tha SYNDICATE.
Scott McCALLUM (R) (inc) 45%
Jim DOYLE (D) 42%
Ed THOMPSON (Lib.) 10%
Delauro (D) and Larson (D) declared winners, as expected.
As it now stands, we retain our Republican (OK, RINO) Governor, and THREE out of five Reps. are Republican (RINO)!
The Chicago vote is 95% tabulated per ABC, outstate 40%, The Governors race is not over, though Jim Durkin (r)for US Senate is lagging Ryan by about 7%pts, so that's pretty well over. What a shame. Durbin could have been beaten.
No idea of the breakdown, but she was up 52-47 with about a third of the vote in and I thought she was cruising.
Ready to call this night: WE LOSE BIG TIME. FU*K!!! Dole on now, accepting her f***ing win. Cruella and Jebbie have officially kicked our ass. Oh, now Jebbie just said McBride has conceded. Game over. Cleland is looking terrible. Not one house seat pickup yet that I've seen, in fact, the GOP has made a pickup and we have not. Governors are going to the GOP right and left. The GOP's margins on their incumbents are HUGE, compared to most of our incumbents barely eeking by. And now, CNN just called it for Sununu over Shaheen. Perhaps our BEST chance for a pickup in the Senate. Gone.... At what point will the Dem leadership wake up and realize that being total f***ing PU$$IES, afraid of the GOP and their attack dogs AIN'T GONNA CUT IT anymore. GOP-lite ain't gonna get it done, people. They could have attacked * and his policies vociferously (and by association made all Rethugs look bad) pointing out all the evil sh*t they have done since coming in. But no. SOOOO much of the time, they cowered, appeased, kept their mouths shut, didn't speak out or stick up for their ideals. Now we are seeing where that's gotten us. We're so FUC*ED. Canada is sounding mighty good right about now ... FU*K FU*K FU*K FU*K
That it is!:-}
My daughter, my son in law and my grandtriplets live in Grayson. Maybe we can play golf sometime. :-}
We could be headed for a runoff..... That is how Senator John Breaux was elected in his first term, he unseated a republican in a runoff.

Uh....no? [g]
I am very happy about Romney's victory. He is one of the most decent people who ever ran for office here. The last three GOP governors for Massachusetts haven't been anything to brag about, but I have high hopes for Mitt Romney. Hopefully he can rebuild the GOP here in Massachusetts and start breaking the stranglehold the 'Rats have in the state senate.
Last night, "buying" a share that payes $1.00 for a Republican House and Senate closed at 28.3 cents.
I looked about 20 minutes ago, and the price had jumped to 50 cents. It is now at 78.9 cents.
The participants in this market collectively believe the chance of a Republican House and Senate is nearly 4 out of 5.
Is this real?Yes, but counting is real slow there.
