OHIO AMBER Alert: Two boys ages 5, Robert Aaron, and 7, Matthew, missing from Knox County. Last seen 11/04, Columbus Ohio. Blonde hair, Blue eyes, possible abductor violent father. His name John, 5" 11", 165 lbs., brown hair, blue eyes. BOLO 2002 Dodge stratus, 4 Door Blue, Ohio Plate BEU 9315. Boys in blue sweats. Sorry I did not catch last name.......something like Strausser, DO NOT APPROACH IF SPOTTED. SUSPECT CONSIDERED DANGEROUS. I hate to say it, but this type of incidents will be the death of the "Amber Alert", which is a good program. To justify using the alert in custody battle, the word "violent" will be used to describe the abductor....my 2 cents...

All it takes is for the mother to "accuse" the father of being violent and she is automatically elevated in the custody battle. Happens all the time.

From what I heard on the Mansfield station, they did not go by anyone's word...history of violence, police calls, and protection orders. I am trying to get more info from my a friend who is a dispatcher
