"Then she says they better be voting Democratic."
What a hypocrite, making the contractor's political views a condition for getting the job. Babs undoubtedly supports laws prohibiting using political ideology as a factor in hiring, but conveniently exempts herself from such principles.

In short, she contended, "Republicans are about protecting the corporations while Democrats are about protecting people." It's really amazing that anyone can believe such trite drivel, especially someone with enough money and experience in the real world to know better.

Why is the text in this story repeated over and over?

I guess the second hand rose is really that! She is so well...bogus!

I wonder if anyone in BS family has had her checked for EARLY ONSET ALZHEIMERS? I really think she is losing her faculties....

Did you catch Brit Hume talking about this yesterday? He segued from a story about a law to prevent idiots and mental defectives from voting into the Streisand story. He did it with an air of innocence and a completely straight face too.

She's right, it was no accident. All the dead people who had voted for him wanted a recall.

In short, she contended, "Republicans are about protecting the corporations while Democrats are about protecting people." This what is to be expected from a New Yorker with a limited education.

She's been mum on Cher's involvement in Sonny's "accident", however. I smell a 'Rat.

"Republicans are about protecting the corporations while Democrats are about protecting people." Well who works at corporations? Monkeys?
And Dems certainly don't give a crap about the self-employed "people".As Hillary said during the healthcare debate: "I am not responsible for every undercapitalized business".
People over big business, huh? Yeah right.

Somebody please give this one a fresh roll of heavy-duty foil. And check the seams in her cap; evidently her seams are not sealed tightly.

Last year, her site urged fans to be more energy-efficient even while she criss-crossed the country on fossil fuel-sucking private jets, roamed the roads in gas-guzzling limos and SUVs, and vacationed on big power boats. Streisand also urged her fellow Americans to set air conditioners at 78 degrees. One source told Keil that Babs kept the 16 rooms in her unoccupied Central Park West triplex as cold as a meat locker.
And don't forget the time Streisand urged everyone to conserve energy by hanging laundry outside on lines, rather than use electric clothes dryers. But when asked if Streisand herself was using a backyard clothesline, her spokesman said: "She never meant that it necessarily applied to her."
Babs has marinated herself in the juices of hypocrisy and unreality for many, many years.
"To withstand this face in the morning, James Brolin, I salute you..."

This is pretty interesting information, thanks. I found it interesting because I had discounted a "factoid" my Hoover Dam guide told me when I was touring Las Vegas a month ago: Streisand has a house on Lake Mead and claims residency in Nevada to avoid state income tax. The first part I could verify, but the second part I could not, and so I shrugged it off as unsubstantiated rumour, much as I would delight in the irony if it were true. After reading this article however, it wouldn't surprise me in the least to see it verified that she advocates for taxes for all sorts of pet causes while skirting them at the same time.

Well ... if she thinks it was an accident, there is only one place she got the information - Clinton - and he surely would know.
For her to blame the repubs is hysterical! The guy was LOSING - why on earth would we want to get rid of him??
But ... these people don't deal with logic!
