I am in Greenwood and am in Steve Buyer's district as well. How ridiculous the way they drew the boundaries (Rats in the legislature, of course)! We had heavy turnout down here in my precinct, so perhaps your precinct will pick up later in the day.

But, to show my libertarian leanings, voted to allow casino gambling in town.

I know what you mean. I voted to allow liquor by the drink in restaurants in what has been a dry county for years. Not so much my libertarian streak, but more that I need something new to preach against. ;^)

Just voted in Lee's Summit, MO, for Jim Talent, of course. Interestingly enough, there were more "election judges" than I have seen in 26 years of voting at this location. Two or three white men, two black women, and a hispanic women who seemed to be glaring at me. Could it have been my snow-camo tunic? Turn-out is light, but steady.

Voted around 10:00 AM for Coleman, Pawlenty, etc. In my 12 years living here, this is the first time I have ever had to wait in a line to vote. Our area trends Republican, so I hope this is a good sign.

Checking in from Tennessee

Voted at 11:12 AM. Straight Republican for the first time ever. And said NO to the Lottery, as well. Low turnout when I was there, it's been raining, raining, raining.

Just voted for Sununu, Bradley & Benson, as did my wife. The kids came with us to the polls, and they really, really wanted to vote, too. But we aren't democrats. So we brought them home and had a little election here.

Voted about an hour ago here in WNC, #274 -- the poll workers said that turnout was a little light, due to pretty rotten weather (cold and rainy).

While I voted straight R, I confess that I didn't feel that I was sufficiently well informed enough to cast an intelligent vote in every single obscure nonpartisan judicial race. Since I consider myself pretty well educated and informed, it does make one wonder a bit about how we go about selecting people for those offices.

I heard something about John pushing Jawhn getting pushing off a train so he could appoint a card carrying DimRAT in his place. Any truth to that rumor?

Just voted in a Minneapolis suburb. It was far more crowded than it has ever been for me. Also, when I got to my car this morning I noticed some fool left a DFL sample ballot on the windshield. Fortunately, it was buried in the snow.

GO COLEMAN and PAWLENTY!

I voted Republican in Hudson Co, NJ., not that it matters much here. The county is 90% Dem.

Well I just voted and the turnout was heavy even with the rain. I was about 800 but I do not know how many vote there. They said the rain was not stopping anyone. This is in Alabama.
