Just got back from voting in CT - behind enemy lines. Did NOT vote for Chris Shays: sorry guys, there's only so much nose-holding one can do.

too bad you didn't vote for Jacob Hornberger (I). He's Pro Life and Pro Gun http://www.hornberger2002.com/
Much better choice than Warner. Yuk!
Thanks for the heads up (albeit too late for my purposes). At least either vote tells Warner that some of Virginia's voters can think for themselves and would prefer a true conservative senator.

Got to vote at 8:40 AM While there, a woman argued with a
poll worker about how long she can occupy a polling booth.
The limit is 5 Minutes and she yelled for a couple minutes. I
got into it and told ! the woman to act like a civilized
person for a change, at least while in a public place. Then I
exited. Florida vote for Jeb Bush and YES to stop smoking in
restaurants amendment SIX (6) bill k2afe

South Louisiana voter here. Voted for Tony Perkins(R)for Senate. Anybody but Landrieu is what's important right now. I voted at about 7:30 and there were people in line. Kind of surprising because it is a very rainy, ugly day here. Looks like an all day rain. If we can get Landrieu in a runoff Louisiana could decide the whole ballgame in the Senate in a month or so. In east-bank Jefferson Parish, Louisiana, there was a steady trickle of voters at my polling place. By the time I left, a short line had already formed - right about the time the rain started. Hope it rains hard all day in Orleans Parish.
I voted for Cooksey and Vitter.

Voted Republican ticket this morning in S. Kansas City, MO at 6:10 AM. Voted against all tax increases. I'm sure you heard that Gov. Holden has threatened that if Jim Talet wins the election he will hold up the certification. Sen. Bond was interviewed this AM and stated that Holden's threat was stupid, but if Talent wins and Holden follows through on his threat not to certify the election Bond said the people of Missouri will see him in court.

Voted absentee for JEB, no to Supremes, no to pigs, smoking and smaller classrooms!

Just Voted. All repubs.
To: Lobbyist
That would be Talent not Talet. Sorry for the misspelling.

Voted in Tennessee. Van Hilleary and Alexander and straight Republican in all the local races.

I had to show my driver's license here in Florida this morning. Sign on the registrar's table said it's a new state law. (Wasn't aware of it.)

Just voted northern suburbs of Chicago. No line, no waiting. I was the 74th voter at 8:45 a.m. Cold rain coming down.
To: Dales
Georgia. Sonny Perdue, Saxby Chambliss, Nathan Deal, and for the first time, every damn 'R' on the ballot, straight ticket. It's payback time.

let's get this thread to have 5,000 unique posters check in!!! Checking in! I voted last week during early voting. I thought about just voting a straight ticket but went through it office by office. Ended up all Repub anyway (of course). Would've been easier if I had voted straight ticket ... less holes to punch. ;o)

WEST MICHIGAN reporting in.
Heavy voter turnout in a predominantly Democratic area. I voted in less than 3 minutes then stood and watched the others, which based on my area would mean they were all likely Dems...I stayed in the booth for nearly 15 minutes before any of them finished. I was amazed that it would take ANYONE that long to vote such a simple ballot.
I then left to put up more Republican candidate signs.
(btw, I was out until 3 am replacing signs that Dems had run over or pulled out)

Doesn't surprise me. You can bet your last dollar that the DNC has studied every election law in every state and will use all means necessary to usurp them.

1st Congresional District (IL)
Senate: Jim Durkin (R)
House: Dorothy G. Tsatsos(LP) My district votes 10:1 Democrat and Raymond G. Wardingley (R) is a laughable candidate.
Governor: Jim Ryan (R)
Attorney General: Joe Birkett (R)
All others: (LP) where a (LP) is running (R) if not.
To: Dales
I voted before work this morning. Hopefully our Republican candidates in IL will win. It's been close here.
