Voted this morning on the way to work here in Missouri--straight R, voted against all the judges, had a great time. About 20 people at about 7:40 am, pretty steady, got in the booth in about 5 minutes, took about 5 minutes to vote.
Go Talent!
I voted this AM. Spent the rest of the day making GOTV calls!

Checking back in from Thune Country (SD) Mr. Rushmore and I voted this morning. Just took my parents to vote. (It takes awhile for the meds to kick in.) Dad's 85 and votes for whomever the NRA tells him to. Mom is 80 and votes pro-life. So, obviously, those are two more Republican votes. The Rockerville Fire Hall is still packed. I really believe it's great night to be a Republican!!!!!

Just got back from voting in Cleveland. Sorry Captain Janeway, but I don't want your hubbie "in command" of the ship of state of Ohio.

Just for the record......I am firmly convinced that in 2000, not one voter was confused by the butterfly ballot. I am referring of course, to Palm Beach County in Florida, not to your voting experience of the same year. Just wondered if you agree with my opinion!

Mafree, I am pinging phikapmom regarding the lax system in you are referring to. There are other states with the same problem regarding no I.D. requirement. There's little use for now- the DemoncRATS fight mandatory voter ID tooth and nail, even though they'd be issued for free. If both of the state houses end up controlled by the GOP and the Pubbie wins for gov it could happen in time but the outcome of today's election sure ain't promised at this point.

I see why Democrats win. When I was in the polling place, I saw LOT's of Blacks. Blacks VOTE. They get off their butts and VOTE. And every one of their votes is a vote for the Democrats.

Checking in from the 10th Congressional District in Illinois. Really ticked off because Phil Crane's been my Congresscritter since I was twelve years old, and now I have pro-abort Kirk instead.
Voted Republican all the way.
Go Dubya!

Voted Satruday at the mall!!!!!!
Early voting allowed here, two poll watchers, I asked if one was Demo and one Pubbie, they did not know. They said it was hard enough to get poll watchers without asking what party they belonged to.

Went with my wife about 4 PM to vote in SW Georgia. I had voted earlier. She was number 125 out of a total of 378 registered voters. Six people were still there when we left. Right after we left the bottom fell out of the overcast sky. I hear a lot from local democrats that voted for Purdue (R for Gov) and Chambliss (R for Senate). Would be the first republican governor for Georgia since Reconstruction. I can only pray.

Done~wifey and I voted straight GOP ticket, except for Carole Keaton Rylander's Texas State Comptroller's slot....I plugged in for the Libertarian candidate, 'cause I heard her campaign ad, and she's got a plan for a new public education-related entitlement program that can be afforded through "savings elsewhere, no new taxes necessary, blah blah" yeah right.
Volunteers, to Texas! We had Green party candidates all over our once-proud ballots! Arrrrgh....
